Even without the injuries I don't think they finish ahead of Central or even Gate City. Trojans may be a gritty bunch but Central and Gate City are tough squads as well. Battle will put up a fight against Union I can guarantee that and it may very well come down to the fourth quarter. You've picked a good time to be playing Union if they come across your schedule right now. Still going to go with Union winning this one which may be ugly something like 35-20.

Teams are stacking 9 in the box and keying on Mason. I don’t blame them. He’s the only thing carrying the team right now. He’s been getting 30 plus carries a game. I hate to be an internet coach but they’re offense is so vanilla. No creativity to it at all.

We are beat down. Physically we are just wore down. These kids played their best ball early in the year and came out on fire in the first half against Ridgeview or they wouldn’t have won that game. After they beat Graham they haven’t played like they’re capable.

Yes! Gate City is playing good football. They're healthy and the kids have bought in for Jeremy. I'm going to go with Central but I would not be surprised one bit if Gate City upends the Warriors. Think it will be a great game.

Nobody thought Central would sneak up and bite us but they did. I agree Union is a much better team and I hope they do win by three touchdowns. Just would like to see more urgency from Union. Kinda the way they played against Graham. No more playing flat.

Even without Lucas, Abingdon will be a tough out for the Bears. I see them coming back and playing their guts out after getting curb stomped against Ridgeview. Hope the Bears come ready to play!

Well as they’re getting healthy Union has become one of the more banged up teams in the Region. Maybe the most unhealthy.

I just don’t think anybody want to see Graham right now. Looks like they’ve fixed some things on the defensive side of the ball since the loss to Union.

We just didn’t have the want tonight. Losing Zavier will hurt us for the remainder of the season. Bryce is banged up. We’re going to have to find ways to get Antwun Jenkins more involved and I like what I saw from Tadyn Roark tonight. Need some younger boys to step up as well. Honeycutt, a freshman has gotten some carries in the early part of the season and looked ok. Hopefully they’ll have a different mindset against Abingdon in a couple weeks after watching Central celebrate off of the field tonight
