  1. As a UNION fan...We really shot are self in the foot with the loss to Central...I hope everything works out for us...going forward
  2. UNION is banged up pretty bad right now... But I can say am proud of the hole team for the schedule that they have had to play so far...7 of 8 teams are going to the playoffs, Another factory I look at is that UNION runs the ball 90 to 95% of the time and that's just hard on players going both ways. But this past Friday Central was the better team hands down...I have a lot of confidence in coach Turner and his stuff to make the right adjustments going in to the bye week and then going to Abington... Like I said it before.. I wish Central the best of luck!! AND HOPE TO SEE YA VERY SOON IN THE PLAYOFFS!!
  3. I don't have my pick yet....BUT THIS GOING TO BE A GREAT GAME!!!
  4. All praise goes to Central last night. They had a really good game plan...Union didn't have no answer for it. As we close this chapter I'm sure I speak for a lot of people from Union...we're praying we meet you again in the playoffs real soon. GO BEARS!!
  5. The way I see it...Am not blaming UNION on BAD play tonight!!! Or CENTRAL'S great performance tonight!! It's because ALL 3 from WCYB-5 picked UNION to win...THATS JUST BAD MOJO FOR US..Thats way lost...LoL
  6. UNION didn't come to play tonight...I think they thought they was going to WAL-MART for a field trip...
  7. Does anyone know what the attendance was of the game from last week? A lot of people showed up at Bullet Park...I'd like to know the number.
  8. Grandpaw Trojan - I feel your pain, I'm from the Big Stone area and 20 years ago I left due to graduating college and finding work in North Carolina. So, I felt when my son was at the age of starting to play ball in high school, I wanted to take him back to where I was from because I knew of the long and deep traditions of football. I remember when I took him to some football games his 9th grade year to let him see Union play, he was overwhelmed by the home town support and spirit. His exact words "I've never seen anything like this before". He didn't know who Thomas Jones was or PV or APP at all, he just seen all the things I was showing him at the games. So, his 10th grade year, I bought a place in Big Stone and he started playing ball there and from day 1, he has loved it from all the support from the school, football moms, and spirit that he sees. I'm just saying that I think this is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my son. If my son wins state, that would be GREAT! But just for the experience that he has had the opportunity to be a part of, is truly overwhelming. The reason Union is so successful in terms of school spirit, is because of a team and community effort that has a real love for the game! ITS TRULY A FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS EXPERIENCE!
  9. Just my opinion..People in the areas of BS & APP believe in tradition..And what Travis Turner has brought to the new HS of UNION!! I can honestly say that's way my son there.
  10. Just saying he didn't show no disrespect towards other people also him and my son took pictures after the game..
  11. In all do respect sir... I didn't think that Adkins showed out towards the end of the game...If anything he might have been fired up... over getting ( game tackled by 3or4 players at a time, that happened alot)...just my 2 cents..
  12. #44..Na that's the WATERBOY!! That's not frustrated...That's just him he's little crazyπŸ€£πŸ˜πŸ€”
  13. I'll be the biggest Pikeville fan on November 1st!!
  14. I agree with you 100% Heck... Travis properly don't give his kids cupcakes... Hard candy only!! 😁
  15. That #44 had a HELL of a gameπŸ’ͺπŸ’₯πŸ‘πŸ™
