Also in last 2 minutes or so, Union is driving down field and the play before 3 and 3 Lomax leaves the game with cramps......next play they are short of the 1st down requiring them to punt. If Lomax stays in the game they more than likely make that first down and run the clock out.

Of the three teams that beat Central 2 are the top 2 seeds in 3A Region D and both games were not runaways. Central's pass defense is not that shabby, they play well. The big question is how strong is Tazewell's line? Can they keep the quarterback up right long enough to throw the ball? Central can and will bring pressure. I don't see Tazewell's defense stopping the Central run game. I'm going to say Central by at least 21.

VHS has trouble stopping the run......Richlands and Graham had good success running on them. I don't see Union having any trouble running on them either as long as they stay away from the spread. I think Union's defense can win the LOS. I'd focus on getting pressure on the center of the line with a big noseguard and LB's in the A, B gaps. Union 35 VHS 14

It only took one lineman down blocking because the DE was playing inside. The key to the whole deal is DC never made one adjustment. It has happened over and over. Other teams have done the same thing, find a play that works and run it over and over because Union will not adjust to stop it.

Yap and at any time did you see the DE move out to a 5 or 9 technique 🤔

All Va High needs to do is watch the Abingdon game. Put in the I formation and run lead 7 about 20 times. Union defense was unable to stop the play.
