Correct, if Union beats Abingdon and GC beats RV then they pass RV in that scenario too.
RV should beat GC, of course they should've beat Union. RV has done less with more talent than anyone in Region D this year. Time is running out to correct that.

Union somehow is 3-0. Honeycutt got hurt again, they are so much better when he plays. Hopefully the kid can get healthy. That win over Battle really sets Union up well to make the regional tournament which to me would be an accomplishment with this group.
Zack has done better job so far this year than maybe any other year he’s coached. This team is very young and undersized but they play hard and work the clock. If they could somehow steal one of the next three M7 games, I think they would lock up the regional tournament berth. 

After tonight’s results, I think the winner of this game wins the state championship. 

How much money did holding back cost Mac McClung? At least 100 grand? Probably more... Holding back should only happen if the child has a developmental issue, not for sports. I say that as someone who lives in a town where they hold back all the time. Oddly enough, the most successful sport (XC) has multiple state titles and doesn't hold back...
