LOL Actually, the "order" I used was "biggest game" for highest ranked "home area" team, next "biggest game" for next highest ranked "home area" team, then Tazewell, unranked & playing in a sort of big game... Don't worry, next week I'll put there embarrassing showing on the front page right below Bluefield winning the Championship...Richlands/Salem will have to be put on the bottom of the totem pole.

Well, I guess you "thank" Bluefield_Rules for you catching all that flack...if it wasn't for him you'd still be banned (which I suggested but let B_R talk me out of) from posting and you wouldn't have to worry about someone accusing you of talking crap about Bluefield. BTW, if you didn't run your mouth SO MUCH about EVERYTHING, you wouldn't have any problems period!

But it may end up costing the SEC some $$$$$...without USC-E, they may not have enough bowl-eligible teams to fill their available bowl slots. I, for one, will not miss either during the bowl season...

It was on their Saturday with the rest of Friday's games. On Sunday, I posted the games that were played on Saturday. I left the Richlands link on the Front Page because of the accompanying picture that went with the article...makes the Front Page look better when you have game pictures. If you look on The Sports Page, you will find ALL the games that were played this weekend in VA and WV (not just our region, but the entire States), with the exception of one or two.

Graham will be no threat to repeat this season...the cupboard is bare...

OK, you get Region IV +50 vs. Gretna...for 2 cans of dip (your choice) if you win or one GOOD cigar (my choice) if I win. Its a bet!

The only reason the game was close was because every time Bluefield did anything in the first half, a penalty brought it back! I don't think the 14 penalties listed in the paper is accurate...I counted 12 midway through the second quarter and I know Bluefield had at least three or four more before half and three or four more in the second half. The officials did their best to completely control the game. As for the field, they need to cut the grass one more time...that stuff was six inches deep in places and definitely hurt Bluefield's speed.

Now that the season is over... I'll tell you what the problem was with Graham this season...the QB position. The wrong player was in there...coach chose "experience" over "ability". Don't have to worry about that next year...

Graham and Grundy did themselves a favor by losing in the first round...it will be bad...VERY BAD!!! The only question is... WHO IS GOING TO BE THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB??? I'm going out on a limb...Gretna will score 70 against whoever represents Region IV.
