VT v. a Top 10 opponent? A guaranteed "L." I wouldn't mind seeing VT win though because Ohio State is the most overhyped team year after year playing in what has become an overall weak Big 10 for the past decade or so.

Williams v. Marrs? Hmmmm. Williams isn't Carlock (no one will ever be), but he seems better than what you had and Graham is more competitive overall it seems now then when Marrs was burning down the program.

I appreciate the information, but that's just sad. There are plenty of technologically inclined people to figure out the electronics enough to educate others. Maybe they should just back go to a manual scoreboard like at Fenway in Boston since the scoreboard is so confusing...ðŸ˜

Thanks for adding your complaints -- who else? 😜 Agree about the politicians, I told one person that I didn't live local and he kept trying to talk to me. It's a little annoying.

What's the problem with the scoreboard having time as opposed the team names above the score? This was a problem last year as well, can we not get someone to fix that? It looks ridiculous. And what has happened to the PA system? You cannot hear anything on the opposite side which was not the case previously. Mitchell Stadium is a great venue, but these issues detract from environment.

No offense to anyone, but I cannot believe people still pay for cable TV. Satellite is FAR superior in picture quality and a much better value all around. My parents still have Comcrap living in Bluefield and pay more than I do for less channels and are regularly without service because of technical issues. I've not lost signal with Dish once that I'm aware in more than two years and get a ton of games without having to extra for a sports package; we have the MLB, NFL, NBA, SEC, BIG 10, PAC, and Longhorn networks without paying extra. The last time the cable company called me trying to get me to switch I told them I would consider it if they paid me monthly to have their service. Needless to say, they haven't called back since.

Graham fans should be excited at the team they have this season. Hopefully, the QB comes back healthy, but a high ankle sprain is difficult to fully recover from in a short period of time. And the receiver, a big-time! Beaver did not play that poor of a pass defense, the kid made some serious plays. As I said earlier in this thread about Beaver, if they found an OL they'd be hard to handle because of the weapons.

Oh yes, something Beaver has seriously lacked since the Lilly/Patterson senior class graduated. Supposed leaders don't do stupid things to get themselves suspended any time, but especially during the season.

If Graham doesn't have the strength advantage it's going to be a long night for them because they will not touch Stewart or Reed in open-space. The key to the entire Beaver season will be the play of the OL and DL. If those positions are stout Beaver will be in serious contention for state title #11.

I was told by a C'burg parent that Beaver "worked over" the Demons last weekend. Shady is horrible, they were dominated last week by Westside. These type of opponents are not what Beaver needs to prepare them for teams like Wayne and Bridgeport. It would have been nice to scimmaged a strong team. Beaver really needs teams like Graham and James Monroe to get their stuff together and challenge them; iron sharpens iron.

I'm amazed that someone can watch that video clip and deduct so much from it. You guys ought to put such talent to use doing something productive for man-kind. The fact is this kid made a very poor decision by running onto a poorly lit racetrack wearing a black helmet and firesuit with RACECARS still operating at a reasonable rate of speed. Unfortunately, he paid for his poor decision with his life; hopefully someone will learn from this and not make a similar poor decision.

At least ATL waited until football season to play their way out of the playoffs. Playoffs or not, the Braves don't have the team to contend with the likes of LAD, SFG, etc in a playoff series.

This is the best coaching hire in VT athletic history in-terms of landing a coach many, including myself, viewed as out of their league. It bodes well for the post-Beamer era hire coming in the next few years. People say the hire was a home run, but I say it was a grand slam.

I would like to listen to the Radford/Altavista title game, but I have no clue what station is carrying it or if it's being broadcasted. When it comes to promoting high school championships Virginia is severely lacking behind, especially compared to WV. WV has its own website dedicated to the state tournament with live stats and audio of every game starting with the quarterfinals. And the new system basketball playoff system is sad in-terms of promotion and atmosphere of something special. I love the WV setup because the state tournament is a four-day showcase of high school basketball and has the feeling of something special. Okay, rant over. I just feel the kids of Virginia deserve more than they are getting right now.

Where does Graham go from here? Will they possibly face Radford at some point? The new playoff system in VA has me confused right now.
