If I'm not mistaken, the WVSSAC prohibits the home team from practicing on the playing field during the week before the play off game (grass only) I think.

I'm not one of those conspiracy theorist but damm, if it doesn't look like all of the top teams in their respective conferences are getting all the calls every week, and the SEC is the most obvious trying to protect UF and Alabama. I didn't see the WVU-Cincy game last night but if a Hokie fan said that WVU got screwed then it must of had happened.LOL.

We are not talking about who is looking at who here because I'm sure their are faster and better all around athletes in the area than Lilly, but in terms of just being a hard nosed old school throwback type of player then Lilly is the man. Lilly is the type of player who can play any position on the field and excel at it...He could play on the offensive line and would be all-state at it. He has played both Quarterback and running back on offense and has played Linebacker and safety on the defensive side of the also.

Lilly knocked his clock back an hour a day earlier...Note...Time change tonight.

I'm not surprised that WVU lost...Even in there last win in Tampa when WVU dominated the Big East the year they won the Sugar Bowl, WVU had a hard time with them then. WVU does not play well down in Tampa against USF.

Maybe WVU and VT can play each other in the "We Both Suck Bowl." LOL.

The very concept behind the idea of "hate crimes," is absolute nonsense. Why should a person get more time in jail for killing a minority than killing, harming or abusing someone else? If one kills another human being other than self defense is it because of hate anyway?...I guess what I'm trying to say is if an individual kills with forethought or even with an "heat of passion" killing, does it not have some sort of hate emotion in it no matter who it is?

That's great news...Was this football related?...It was said it happened on the field but was it due to a specific hit or did he just collapse for some unknown reason?

" I don't like repeat offenders, I like dead offenders." I thought about this comment after watching the news about the little girl in Florida was found dead in Georgia. Statistically the suspect is probably a repeat offender.

I've even heard WVU fans complain about Maryland fans...Go figure.

I can remember my parents packing a lunch and leaving in the morning as we headed toward Bristol, and when we arrived we would park in that field right across the track and eat lunch and then walk right up to the ticket and buy tickets to the race. I can remember watching Bobby Issac, Buddy Baker, Cale Yarbrough, the Allison brothers...My fondest memory was not at Bristol but at Daytona when Richard Petty and David Pearson wrecked each other on the final lap and Benny Parsons ended up winning the race...That was a classic and those were the days of great racing and many of good post race fights among the drivers.
