I reckon if they were just looking at stats then Matt Wright would stand out. From Daily Mail: "Tyler Consolidated senior Matt Wright, who carried 219 times for 1,851 yards (8.5 per carry) and scored 24 touchdowns and 154 points." Nice numbers, but I don't pretend to know anything about that school or who they played. I do know that Steele is fine player and it hurt his stats that Bluefield had several big wins where he didn't play nearly the entire game. Just not enough room for all who are deserving sometimes.

Graham had the ball deep in their own territory in the 4th quarter, but they could not do anything and had to punt. Gretna scored late to ice the game. Graham was actually down 27 points and came back within 5 points in the 2nd half. Graham did not quit despite the 1st half hole they were in and Gretna made the plays when they had too. They made plays on 4th down what seemed like 4 or 5 times. I commend Graham on a great effort and another fine season.

I hear alot of Graham fans were hoping for this weather against Gretna, but I'm sure how much it help it will be. Maybe it slows Gretna's offense, but on the other hand it doesn't help Graham's offense either. Plus Gretna's defense has been dominating this year, and the field conditions aren't conducive to Bradshaw judging from other games I've seen him play when the conditions were bad. I expect Gretna to come out and throw the ball anyway, despite conditions. I'm concerned about Graham's pass defense. They have not faced anybody who can throw like Hall. I just don't know if Graham can cover that well. Quote from Coach Carlock from BDT echos that: "Unless we can slow Hall down a little and get some people on his receivers, we won't have much of a chance" I know I sound negative, but I hope Graham can step up and get the job done.

No guarantee it will be any better on Sunday. They can't keep pushing it back with the championship set for next weekend I wouldn't think. Hope it's not on Sunday, because I won't be going if it is.

You state in your message that it is required that he attend. If that is true and he doesn't attend, and nothing is done about it, then it's not much of a requirement. Why is it a requirement, if it's not enforced? Is it really required?

Bradshaw actually did plenty as a Soph., but there were other upperclassmen like Paco Jones who got the ball much more often. Anyway, Grundy should have a good team next year. One thing I noticed is a lack of players however. Seemed like the numbers are down from a few years back or do they not dress as freshmen?

Grundy person started this topic. I remember excuses from the Grundy when they lost this year, the coaching was awful or the refs screwed us (Carroll County). You have no room to talk.

FC better than Graham? FC lost to Martinsville. Graham beat Martinsville easily. Anything can happen, but there will be no snow this time. Carlock on his way out? FC has 2 Bradshaws?
