  1. I don't think I'd be on here blasting Tech when Oregon is rolling into Knoxville on Saturday night. That's all I'm saying.
  2. "The ball ain't shaped that way to be run on every down." --Steve Spurrier
  3. Steinspring's idea of a passing game is: 1.) Four "button hooks". 2.) Four "go-routes", and in the event that none of the receivers break open on sheer athletic ability, the quarterback hauls a$$. It's the worst designed passing attack I've ever seen.
  4. Tech's offense is right out of a video game!!!!
  5. I agree. Discharging this gun, while regrettable, might have saved this guy a serious beating or even death.
  6. Just gettin' them used to that orange and black prison issue a few years from now.
  7. If Butch Davis would smarten up and land a job in the SEC, all these problems with the "rules" he keeps bumping into, would vanish. GO GATORS!
  8. That could be said of anything leaving this community for the past 30 years. Just the continuation of the slow death.
  9. VPI has got to run the ball. A wild west shootout with Boise St. is a loser.
  10. I'm gonna' dig this post up in January 2011, when we're shoveling 14" of snow.
  11. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-happy-meals-20100427,0,6290206.story Will it ever dawn on these idiots that the cheeseburger, not the toy, makes the kids fat? Read the "comments" section, the libtards that run Santa Clara County are being pummeled.
  12. "Merry Christmas................." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  13. Fossial records, ice cores, rock strata, etc.. Not recorded by mans hand. When someone posts that its hotter than its ever been, I think about when USARP (United States Anartic Research Program) found oil under Anarticia, and laugh.
  14. Wrong! The banks were, ordered by the government to stop "red-lining" people for home loans under threat of prosecution by the (Janet) Reno Justice Deptartment for institutionalized discrimination. When the banks could not select customers on the basis of who could repay the loan and who could not, the mortgage market turned into a dogpile. With unscrupulous people borrowing money knowing that they had no means to repay the loan, hoping to "flip" the house for a profit when the local real estate market ballooned 5-10%. The banks packaged these under red line mortgages and sold them on the securities market to try and crank up sales and revenues to stay afloat in the coming financial storm. Their plan didn't work. So financial institutions show up on Capitol Hill to grovel for a bailout from the very people who cuased this whole mess. People in government with a "social agenda" in the real estate market.
  15. You mean even warmer than the late Triassic period, when Antiarcia was covered with fern forests? Please, do us a favor and grow up.
  16. I don't really know where to go with this. First, the story dosen't say what goods are being improted and/or exported. Second, imports and exports are up, so the story is "worldwide production and consumption is up?" That's hardly newsworthy. I think we need more detailed information.
  17. This nation loses 40,000 people per year to automoblie accidents. No story here.
  18. Healthcare is a commodity. It has to be "produced" by doctors. The result of a doctor's day of work is measured in heathcare, the doctors expertise used to solve medical problems, diagnose conditions, and monitor the health of a group of patients. Healthcare is an unseen, untangible commodity, but a commodity just the same. It is produced, distrubuted and consumed in our society by the same monetary process as cheeseburgers, legal advise, or coal. Thirty years of not teaching basic economics in school has led us to this place.
  19. What's this slobbering babble? What ever happened to purchasing what you want with your money?
  20. Wrong! I have never used my health insurance for a doctors visit, I pay with a check at the end of the appointment. The same as paying for dinner, or purchasing tires for my car. The customer has everything to do with it.
