Duran Carson (17 points) and Nick Viers (13 points) also played well for Abingdon, which saw nine different players reach the scoring column. Jordan Burrows led Marion with 15 points. --- Virginia High 63, Lee High 52 --- C.J. Tillie scored 20 points and Virginia High clinched the Highlands District title with a victory over visiting Lee. Terrell Vereen added 14 points for VHS, which pulled away in the second half. Josh Moore (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Bearcats. Gary Stafford and Chad Skaggs added 14 points apiece for Lee.

What do you want, people to grovel at your feet??? Anyway, from what I can tell you are getting some respect. You're definately one of the best teams in the area, probably second to Castlewood IMO. Remember though, you lost a couple of games in Virginia. I thought you proclaimed perfection in the state??? kidding, only kidding.. Seriously though, I don't get where you're coming from??

Bobby and Garry Stafford were the guards and Chad Skaggs is the big man, listed at 6-8. Wish they could get him to play more like a big man a little more. That last shot second shot was one of the few last second shots that didn't go down haha. Duffy, 6-4, would've played this year too but go hurt during football and is out for the season. He came off the bench and played behind Perdue last season.

Lee boys won tonight 44-40 and the Abingdon girls won 65-42 (close game like the boys game until the end).

The BHC had them at 7-2 the last time I saw anything on them. Don't know who all they've played, but that game was against Patrick Henry and Abingdon won 63-44. Jackson had 31 in the game. Abingdon (boys and girls) play Lee High tonight.

Chilhowie twice, Lebanon, Castlewood, and George Wythe. They've beaten Tazewell (60-42), Northwood, Carroll County, and Patrick Henry.

Marion is 4-5.

Nice showing in the tournament, was a little suprised in the scores of DB and TN High games though.

What does that got to do with an individual player's performance? Might want to look at their games again though, because I don't think they got killed by "everybody" they played. That shouldn't matter anyway.
