Hopefully the Richlands - Lebanon rivalry will rekindle, but nobody can argue that Richlands had some powerhouse teams lately that lebanon wasn't in the same league with, neither was anybody else. Like Shane said, people graduate, things change and it does run in cycles. Lebanon has had cycles that Richlands couldn't do much with Lebanon. I'm glad to see it back, I think it'll be a little closer now.......or at least I hope it will.

Thanks for the congrats.... but Tazewell just wasn't themselves tonight you know. They shot themselves in the foot. The football was wet. They just didn't want to hurt any Lebanon players. Their coach was too predictable. (remember, we're from Lebanon, Predctable High School.) Their shoes just didn't fit right. The bus trip wore them out. They didn't want their starters to get hurt while they were playing the entire game. The Lebanon coaches tripped our players. We dropped the ball after those mean ole Lebanon players hit us. You know.......Lebanon couldn't have just beat'em. I've read all these posts and it's as if the Republicans never had a chance to govern. Eight years of a Republican President, six of those years with a Republican House of Representatives. Where are we with that fact? What has happened in those years? WE will forever be remembered as the generation of greed and selfishness, we've done this to ourselves. We will probably be the first generation to leave the next generation in worse shape than we were left. Republicans will blame Democrats, Democrats will blame Republicans.......we, the people that elect our representatives are to blame. We have managed to bankrupt our country, borrow ourselves into prosperity. Now, it's time to pay up. I don't have any Idea if our new President will make one difference but the past certainly hasn't worked. I'm ashamed of the mess we are leaving for our children and grandchildren to clean up. God bless them, hopefully they will be able to see past the "me" generation and become the "us" generation.

Wow, it's pretty easy to pick out a school that's used to being a whipping post. One decent year and they're ultra cocky. Congratulations!! I've seen both teams play. Tazewell is a very good team and well rounded with a very good coach. Lebanon WILL have the fastest team by-far whether the Tazewell faithful wants to admit it or not. Lebanon has more weaknesses and less depth than Tazewell and this will make a huge difference in the game. Lebanon is also VERY predictable as usual. Tazewell will probably win this one but should be a better game than some think.

If you're refering to the Burton - Clintwood game, I believe it is at Clintwood. Not trying to be a smart alec, just in case something happens that you might not have to work....don't want to drive to the wrong place........speaking from experience

Be one heckuva game......I'd have to lean a bit towards JIB's speed. I've seen both teams and both are very good teams but I was really impressed with Burton's speed. If Burton can stay healthy this year I believe it'll be a different story than last year.

You're right.....but luckily we've had 8 years to practice having a boob in office. So, we really won't know the difference.
