Still to this day I can't honestly say whether Cole got in or not. I wasn't sitting near the goal line when it happened. It was really too close to call. It is what it is though. The '97 Beavers and '01 G-MEN would be one he one heck of a matchup. Heck could you imagine a four team round robin with the '89 G-MEN, '97 Beavers, '01 G-MEN, and the '04 Beavers. I always thought that would be exciting.

What does Grayson and Galax have back this year?

Have any of you ever recorded any of the games off of the radio or know of anybody that does? I've been searching for broadcasts from particularly the 2004 and 2007 seasons and years prior for years now. I am willing to purchase copies of them. Any info would be appreciative.

It would be nice to see James Monroe to get back on track this season. I have enjoyed watching the matchups with Bluefield over the last decade. How is their line looking this season?

Those two will definately be a force. I just wonder how the line will be this season. That will be the main question in my opinion. That is what killed them last season. Will be interesting to get a handle on how the line has progressed in the offseason in the scrimmages.

Do you mean the 2002 Wayne or 2003 Weir game? The 2003 Poca game is memorable to Bluefield fans about the same way the 2004 Bluefield/Weir game is memorable to the Weir fans. Memorable but not in a good way. I agree the 2002 Richlands game was a good game too.

2001 Pulaski vs. Graham(scrimmage game) 2002 Bluefield vs. Wayne(Semi-final game) 2003 Weir vs. Bluefield(2nd round playoff game) 2003 Poca vs. Bluefield(State Championship game) 2004 Martinsburg vs. Bluefield 2007 Bluefield vs. Richlands 2009 Bluefield vs. Magnolia(Semi-final game) Those were some others that were memorable to me over the years.

Definately not a mind reader. Since that game I don't stop watching, listening, or recording any Bluefield game until it is over. That is why that particular game is the best in my book.

Too much size and talent was the difference for Tug Valley I believe. But hey Bluefield started three sophmores in today's championship game with a few more that contributed alot to this year's team. So I say the future looks bright for Bluefield.

If the touchdown is going to put you up by 3 points or less than I can understand downing the ball to run time off of the clock otherwise take the easy points. Bradshaw done the right thing by scoring the touchdown. New England is a great offensive team but they just dont have that quick strike ability like they have had in years past.

I'd take a good defense over a good offense any day. Look for the rematch.

Right now the two best teams in the country hands down are LSU and Alabama. They have the two best defenses in college football which was evident when they played. I enjoyed the game and hope they do rematch which is very likely in my opinion. I enjoy watching a game with alot of offense but I appreciate watching a good defensive battle on the gridiron as well. I believe you would see the same result in a rematch as well. I would give LSU the advantage though because of special teams. They have a heck of a kicker.

Thanks for the info! I know last year they decided not to broadcast them because of the number of games that were postponed in previous years due to weather. At least that is what I was told. Unfortunate for fans like me who don't get a chance to make it out to the games often.
