I believe Lebanon will beat G.W. and win the district. There is no doubt in my mind. But that still doesnt change the fact that the loser of the game is getting a raw deal

The loss by Patrick Henry to Rural Retreat was a huge loss to their playoff hopes. Up to that point they were ahead of G.W. in the points. I know that Nichols was out that game but a loss is a loss.

There is a very good possibility that the loser of the Lebanon & GW game will not make the playoffs. Both teams as of right now are 7-0. Floyd is 6-0 and also could miss the playoffs. The winner of Giles 4-2 (1-0 district) and Floyd 6-0 (1-0) will be 1 team in. The Lebanon & G.W. winner will be the second team. In a good playoff system that also would be the four teams that make it in Region C. The problem comes with Grayson County 2-5 (2-0) who will very likely win their district. If they win the district that knocks 1 team out. And then their is James River who is 4-3 (1-0) who could also very possibly win their district. That means 2 of the top 4 doesnt make it.

That goes to prove my point. A few fans give all fans a bad name. I am from Lebanon and I find myself sitting there watching a game with people behind me wishing that they would just shut up. You know the ones. They yell just to be yelling not even knowing what they are talking about or what is going on. Every school has those fans.

I know that this has nothing to do with Carroll County @ Grundy but it does have somthing to do with fans. At Lebanon's game vs. Holston last night there were some Richlands fans (or maybe players) i didn't know them but I do know that they were from Richlands who were thrown out of the game for things they were doing and saying to the Lebanon team and cheeerleaders. I know that it is just a couple of people but it is fans like that, that give team fans a bad name.

I think that this years Lebanon team is very underrated. I know that Richlands is a powerhouse this year and will be very tough to beat (especially at Richlands) but I think if Lebanon comes to play they have a shot at it. The one concern that I have is that they have commited to many turnovers this year. They can't do that and beat Richlands.

Also after the way that Richlands killed us last year the Pioneers will be wanting a little revenge.

I think that both teams will try to win that game with all they got. If Lebanon goes into that game 9-0 they will be in the playoffs. But a win against Richlands will give them enough points to beat Floyd out for the number 1 seed and homefield advantage. I think that is enough motivation to play your starters and I'm sure Richlands will have enough motivation to play also.

I agree 100% that Lebanon has a very tough D. Drew Shortt can shut down any reciever in the area and the D-Line is strong across the board. I am also very impressed with Thayer White running the ball. He is a completely different back than he was in the Honaker game. His confidence is off the charts. I would also like the opinions of other Lebanon fans. Don't you think with Sexton's height they should try more fade routes when they have the ball inside the 10-15 yard line. It would almost be unstopable. That is just my opinion.

I think it will be very difficult for George Wythe to beat Lebanon. One reason is that their schedule hasn't prepared them for a tough game. Another reason is it is at Lebanon, a very tough place to play. The Lebanon defense is also very tough. They held the best back in the district to (Kelli Nichols) to -2 yards.

Lebanon 31 Patrick Henry 0 Thayer White ran for 189 yds. and 4 tds. They also held Nichols to -2 yards on the game. They played the best game that they have played all year. Thought it would have been alot closer

I think it will be a good game. But i also believe that the only way that Tazewell can win the game is to open it up. Against Richlands they kept coming out in sets where they had no wide outs. There is no way that they will win against Lebanon with those formations. If they open it up then i believe that they could win. I believe Lebanon will come out on top by a couple of TD's but it will be close throughout.

No love for the Lebanon Pioneers. I have seen both them and Tazewell play. If Lebanon will pass the ball Tazewell will not be able to stop them. LHS 35- THS 21
