  2. The ticket office didn't offer single game LSU tickets this year. Only the 3 game package with Norfolk St, LSU, and Louisville
  3. I agree...I don't see the point in bashing Marshall. I may be a WVU fan but I will always pull for Marshall when they are not playing us. I had no clue about WVU keeping them from getting a law school and etc. That is disappointing to hear, and that's coming from a mountaineer fan.
  4. This is why people give us WVU fans the reputation we have. I didn't want to get into this arguement but I hate seeing WVU fans being so disrespectful to everyone who's not a mountaineer fan. First off the bar at Myrtle beach is owned by WVU alumni. Yeah they represent WVU hours away from Morgantown. But what's your point? Myrtle beach is a tourist hot spot for the majority of people in the east side of the country, and most WVU fans don't even know the bar exists. They also have a Virginia Tech and MARSHALL banner hanging from the ceiling, not to mention about 25 other D1 teams, so it's not like they don't show respect towards other colleges. I was born and raised a WVU fan. I've always grew up watching the football games with my grandpa, but i'll be honest the "Pat White Era" is the only reason WVU has gained so much national attention over the past few years. Look back when Byron Leftwich was at Marshall, you didn't see us bashing them then, so why do it now? Not to mention how many WVU fans were all up on Marshall "nuts" that year pulling for him to win the heisman. Now we all hate them? WHY? It makes no sense. As for going to Marshall and cheering for WVU, that's a different story. The only college in the state that offers my masters program is Marshall University. So for that reason, I will be attending Marshall. There's no way I can just change from being a huge WVU fan, so for that reason i'll continue to pull for the mountaineers while earning my education at Marshall. Call it crazy, but I call it being a loyal fan to my team I was born and raised to love.
  5. Other than blocking off part of the parking lot, they really did not enforce any restrictions last year. Everyone set up tents and consumed adult beverages just like every other year. As long as your in the blocked off area you should be good to go.
  6. Broadway Louie's is by far my favorite bar i've EVER been to. Love seeing the WVU headquarters painted on the wall when you walk in. Coach Stew sang Country Roads there the night we beat Kentucky in the elite 8.
  7. Bluefields "projected" enrollment for this coming year is 581. Grades 9th-11th http://www.dailymail.com/Sports/201007140922 However I don't see the enrollment being that high. Most likely around 650 altogether like VHSL mentioned.
  8. Dj is a good kid, I wish him the best of luck at Richlands.
  9. For the past month or so i've actually done the exact same lol. I try to pick one night out of the weekend and relax with a few cold ones on my front porch. So far not much activity at night except a few suspicious cars driving back and forth down the street.
  10. When I called the responder said an officer would be by shortly to file a report. After sitting outside for about an hour I gave up. About 5 hours later, a officer arrived. I'm guessing they weren't to busy since it was a Sunday. The only funny part about it was these exact words from the officer: "Well I'll take the rock with me for evidence just in case we find other car windshields smashed by the same type of rock. Maybe we can find where they are getting the rocks from and catch them" Bluefields Finest
  11. I also live off of College Ave in Bluefield by the community center. Thought mine might have been the only one. Last month on July 3rd I woke up to a shattered front windshield. They left the 15-20lb rock laying right beside the car. Called the cops just to file a report, not expecting them to actually catch the person. I'm pretty sure I know who the person is. Some wanna be thug from the high school. He tried to start a fight with my 60 year old next door neighbor a few weeks ago.
  12. Need atleast 1 more person...Anyone? Anyone?
  13. He will be back in the NFL within this season. Once the right team needs a receiver they will come calling.

  15. 4 year deal http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/29079/ahmad-bradshaw-re-signs-with-giants Well, if the New York Giants were bringing in Jason Snelling for a visit to try and scare Ahmad Bradshaw into re-signing with them, it appears to have worked. Snelling was indeed at the Giants' offices Monday talking to team officials about potentially signing with the team. But shortly before 2 pm, The Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo broke the news via Twitter that Bradshaw had signed a four-year contract, which is almost certainly the outcome for which the Giants were hoping when they decided to talk to Snelling. Bradshaw was a major priority this offseason for the Giants, who posted the sixth-most rushing yards in the league last year with the tandem of Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs leading the way. He had some fumbling problems that led to his benching in favor of Jacobs during the second half of the season, but he's an excellent multi-purpose back who can catch the ball, excels in pass protection and is a key part of the Giants' offense. Had they not re-signed him, they'd have been left with second-tier options such as Ronnie Brown who don't fit what they do as well as Bradshaw does. It wasn't the world's easiest negotiation, as Bradshaw flirted with the Dolphins, Redskins and Bengals, among other teams, in an effort to bring the Giants' offer up. But in the end, it appears to have been Snelling, the leverage card the Giants played Sunday night and Monday morning, that got this deal done. The Giants remain in negotiations with free-agent tight end Kevin Boss and free-agent receiver Steve Smith and could look for an upgrade at linebacker now that their highest-priority item is checked off.
  16. He's running out of options. I'm hoping the best for the guy, but he can't be to greedy. Jason Snelling is visiting with the Giants today. I see Ahmad signing by the end of tomorrow. 5 or 6 million a year range.
  17. Sounds good...Found another to play..So 3 spots left as of right now.
  18. Still 4 We need atleast 2 more people. 8 teams or 10 teams will be sufficient.
  19. I drove by Pikeview Middle school yesterday and just got a glance at the new school. It caught my eye from the height of the school being taller than the surrounding trees. Not sure on how many stories though.
  20. http://www.spotify.com/us/about/what/ Has anyone else used it? I've been using it for a couple of days now and it's much cheaper and superior over iTunes. If you download a large quantity of music to your computer, mobile phone, or iPod/MP3 then I highly recommend checking it out. I've officially replaced my iTunes with it, atleast untill Apple decides to offer a subscription based service.
  21. From Umpire Jerry Meals He oled him? What the hell does that mean? I thought OLED was organic light in the new TV's
  22. He was clearly out on the play. As a former umpire, i'll admit when games go deep into extra innings your judgement does start to loosen up a bit, however this umpire just let his judgement go altogether. He must of been hungry.
