  1. So, troll, who do YOU follow, or do you sit around and get your personal jollies seeing other teams lose. You've posted here before, so you're not a Wayne fan. Let me guess, you're a fan of a team that got bitch-slapped by Bluefield this year, and since your team sucks, you have to get pleasure from some other method?
  2. Wayne 24 Bluefield 0 9:09 left in the second half. Bluefield had a punt blocked. Not good, not good at all. Wayne had a 1 play 4 yard drive. Easily the best team Bluefield has played all year. Of course, pathetic troll will still be pathetic. Guess troll follows a horrible team and has to take solace in Bluefield's woes.
  3. Their usual excuse is that they're off at an odd angle. Yeah, I guess when you are at the 40 yard line, that is an odd angle. Those two are HORRIBLE. Compounded by Brock screaming anybody for either team gets more than 5 yards. EDIT: and there we go. Brock gave the "We're at an angle" excuse...
  4. Go start whatever you like. This game isn't over, and nobody is saying anything contrary to Wayne being a good football team. So keep your flaming to it's own thread, k thnks.
  5. Wayne 16 Bluefield 0 4:10 left in the first quarter. Screamin' Brock and Joe Jarvis are still nails down a chalkboard. Drink when they say "corn fed" or "big ol boy". You'll be blitzed by halftime.
  6. Followed by a bad snap on a punt. Giving Wayne a short field for their second possession. Ugh.
  7. Wayne 8 Bluefield 0 First drive of the game, Wayne drove methodically down the field and scored. Wayne goes for two and gets it.
  8. Am I the only one that thinks the original poster is not real, that he's a troll? At least I sincerely hope that is the case. So...is everyone getting baited by a troll, or is there REALLY someone as ridiculous as the O.P. I vote for the former. Most boards go by a "do not feed the troll" mentality.
  9. I have no idea who starts and who doesn't. but looking at the BDTBlitz page, I see plenty of size. #60 is 5'10" and 244 #55 is 6'1" and 239 #54 is 6'0" and 239 #75 is 6'5" and 311 #63 is 6'0" and 227 #53 is 6'0" and 225 I'd suggest that size isn't your problem. Bluefield is no bigger than that, in fact, for the most part, Bluefield is smaller. Single wing uses a lot of misdirection and trap blocks. Don't have to be big as an offensive lineman, just have to be quick and reasonably strong for your size.
  10. Final Score: Bluefield 63 James Monroe 14 Bluefield now 8-1. Came into the week #3 in AA in WV, appears #1 and #2 are on their way to wins, so I expect they'll stay at #3
  11. Bluefield 63 James Monroe 7 Christian Oster with the score. Maxey handoff to Santoro for the 2pt conversion. JV squad is playing now.
  12. Bluefield 55 James Monroe 0 Bluefield kneeled on the PAT. Charles Ross with the long run, handoff from Maxey, a freshman in at QB. Nearly the end of the third quarter.
  13. Simon was probably concerned that "Kevin" would call him out on this board for playing the starters. :D Kevin can continue to insult the radio announcers, however, as that criticism is totally warranted. They stink.
  14. Bluefield 49 James Monroe 0 0:29 left in the second quarter
  15. Bluefeld 42 James Monroe 0 2:57 left in the first half Any trolls wanna complain if Bluefield scores again the rest of the game? :D
  16. Bluefield 35 James Monroe 0 8:00 left in the second quarter.
  17. Bluefield 28 James Monroe 0 17 seconds left in the first quarter.
  18. Congrats to Tazewell!! So happy you guys got that monkey off your back. Now, each game is a fresh game, no streak to worry about, go get 'em.
  19. I'm going to offer a contrarian view. For those kids that are good enough to eventually be making a living off of football, or are at least good enough to get a college scholarship for it. I think it's fine. But outside of that, we're pushing kids who are playing for the enjoyment of it to work this 12 months a year, many more hours a week. It would head toward gymnast-style burnout. Are kids better if they devote another 10-20 hours a week toward a singular part of the game? Likely so. Now, that is a macro-based comment. Looking at the state of Virginia, I don't doubt it to be true. Huge schools east of here, parents and schools that will spend big money on specialists to train these kids. Would having something like that in SWVA level the playing field? Most likely so.
  20. Why do you care so much? I can't stand the announcers. Most Bluefield fans can't stand the announcers. The rest of what you said is so incredibly stupid, it hardly warrants a response. Why is it important to you who plays for how long? You even admit the reserves would have scored too. Son, there is no mercy rule in football. Get a little self-esteem and get back to me.
  21. By "us", I am assuming you are talking about Graham? Dude, don't even go there. Bluefield and Graham fans have kept this respectable, don't start to erode that with comments supporting the moron in this thread. If it's not obvious, or you're not smart enough to understand (which I assume is the case by your incredibly stupid comment), I am discussing the games in which Bluefield is far ahead Bluefield has been giving up a decent amount of scores late, usually against the reserves, so...Bluefield makes sure they have a comfortable lead before pulling the offensive starters. All one has to do is look to the Princeton game to see how backing off early almost lost the game. If you're a team that got thumped, we surely apologize for hurting your sensibilities, because we know it makes you sad to get thumped. If any of you whiners are WVU fans, do you think WVU should back off when they get in the upper 40s? Do you say the same thing about them? Or are you hypocrites when you're on the losing end? Because...if WVU did what you think Bluefield should have done, I know they would have lost at least one more game due to it. Again, stop being whiners and babies. I know, your self-esteem is hurt when someone scores 50.
  22. FINAL SCORE: Bluefield 54 Westside 14.
  23. Wahhhhh. You know how to avoid having another team RUTS? Be a better team. Hope the rest of the folks are poor losers like you. Simon's usual game plan is to get to 50 then let off the throttle. You guys should get something different, of course.
  24. Bluefield 54, Westside 14 Westside TD, against the scrubs. PAT fail Just going to hold on at this point, Simon called the dogs off at 54.
