Bluefield versus Richlands in 1987-88. Bluefield scores 13 pts in the first 7 minutes of the game. Richlands comes back to win 21-13. That was a good one but the best I have ever seen was the 2004 Weir and Bluefild game.

I agree, we all can call the plays from the stands. It is easy, no refrees to worry about, no subsitutions to consider, no injuries to take into consideration, no pressure from the game itself, no parents to make mad, I kinda like calling the plays from the stands. No pressure. Coach Mance and his Team is 12-0 with the things that they are doing. Keep up the good work Mance and bring home another STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! We will cheer you on!

That was what I thought as well. They looked shocked when the ball was kicked.

Mance did out smart Marrs to start the second half with the onsides kick. I do give him credit for that.

I tell you another running back that was awful tough was Bryan Beavers from Richlands in the mid 80's. He didn't go D1 but anybody that played against him can relay the message of how tough he was.

I think this will be the best game of the year! Muncey vs Proffitt! All the talk about little league, small schools, no competiton whatever the rattle has been will come to an end Friday as the blues and dogs square off. I think Richlands has the edge because of Proffitt. She is one tough cookie. I predict Richlands 3-0 over the dogs! What do you think?

That is just unbelievable! This team is for real. I'm thinking state championship! What is their record now? 6-0? With only four or five runs being scored on them.

Well Proffitt did it yesterday, she struck out 11 batters and got the win for the lady blues! Good job Renia!!
