After watching Graham vs. Bluefield tonight, I dont believe this years Graham team is within 15-20 points of last years Graham team. ( which was a good team). Bluefield played sloppy and still won by 20 plus. Poor passing, passed up a lot of open shots. Lax defense. Was not impressed. They have potential, but lack agression. No inside game. They may finish 2nd in the SWD, but only due to lack of competition. Richlands will beat them if they dont improve.
If they hadnt missed 10 free throws in regulation, they would have won that game. #0 put the Oak Hill team on his back down the stretch, hr was the best player on the court, other than that, Graham matched up very well.

We both have access tot he VHSL's numbers... I am not looking it up but I am guessing around 300-350? Furthermore, neither FC or PM is technically in SWVA. 1A SWVA cannot play with PM, there is that a better statement for you? I feel like I have covered all of my parameters. Let me know if I need to be more specific.
Regardless, Dook lost to BC today, does that mean Dook is still not the favorite to win the NCAA this year?

1A girls basketball, at least in Region C/D, belongs to PM.
I was just responding because you said no one in SWVA could play with them. Didn't know you only meant 1A. Also, Floyd has an enrollment of about 600. What is the enrollment of PM? Just curious, I know it has to be below 450.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....If this was in SWVA the VHSL would have someone's head, but it goes back to the same thing we've seen before, any team in the Roanoke Valley an eastward can do whatever and VHSL turns a blind eye. If Union had received a couple of tranfers from Graham would VHSL have allowed that??? Can not imagine what the rule is that allowed this to happen. Richlands has had transfers, but I thought the rule was that the kid had to have a semester of education under his belt at the new school, if I'm wrong, I must have fell asleep during the rule change meeting.
Are the schools within the same County?/ Division? If so, perfectly legal. As long as the kid moved within the attendance zone.
Save yourself the drive around SWVA and just go watch PM. They won state last year and return a bulk, if not all, of their starters and players. If PM does not win this year then it will be shocking. No one else in SWVA can play with them.
They lost to a rebuilding Floyd Co. about a week back.
Lester transferred over last season and got significant playing time as a freshman last season. He is a very good defender and very fast and athletic. He can get to the basket with his quickness. Reminds me of how Ahmad Bradshaw used to play basketball, not quite as athletic however, but still a very good athlete. Good leaping ability and quick on D and has the ability to slash and cut on offense, very quick.
Graham up 64-47 beginning of 4 th Pressing more and running the floor, pulling away again. Allen has fouled out for Graham. Lester is not playing tonight. Ty Gray looking good off the bench.
