Well let's see, for the last 10 years they have been promised they would close within the next two years. You have no idea what that does to morale and especially to a coach trying to build a program. So clearly he is trying to make sure that he has some type of prospect out there. The last time they should have given it to him and I can garauntee they wouldn't have went 5-25 with the kids they've had. AND his oline would have known how to block. I know for a fact that compton made this statement in a group full of coaches: "these boys don't know how to block." Whose fault is that?

You are sincerely lacking in knowledge about what you are talking about. Palmer is not a "here today, gone tomorrow" guy. He spent 8 years as head coach of Ervinton, 2nd smallest football playing school in the state. He has spent 8 years at the helm of St. Paul, first smallest football playing school in this state. Both schools have their struggles, especially with numbers. That would present huge amounts of stress and issues not associated with larger schools. How is that comparable to one who doesn't stick around?

Heard last night compton resigned and its pending board approval before they post the job. If someone like palmer comes in and can relate to the kids and teach the oline how to block, they should be competitive.

There's no doubt he knows football. That doesn't always translate into being a good coach.

Current St. Paul Head coach. Coached and played at Ervinton and had success there. Has been at St. Paul for 7 or 8 years and has won a couple district championships there. Good coach. Would be good for PH.

Actually, they dropped Hurley and picked up Haysi. Haysi has more of a chance of being stronger year in and year out. That logic doesn't work.

Being that JJk beat Pound, seems you would want Pound to win as many games as possible. That's 2 power points per win. Those may come in handy at the end of the year.

Crabtree did trade film with him. You need to go back and look at the game film again and get your facts straight. BI tried to run it up. Ask his players. He told someone close to me that as well. How many on BI's schedule are smaller in number and how many are larger? Numbers count and Pound is playing schools of the same size. Who on Kelly's schedule is better? Castlewood is terrible and they beat Rye Cove. John Battle is terrible and they beat Patrick Henry. Lee High got beat by a bottom rung Harlan team. Who do they play out of district that is decent?
