Sorry Unchained I was at the JJk game. Kelly was the better team and certainly deserved to win, but could not have hung 100 on pound. BI tried to run up the score, remember that the clean jerseys didn't come in until 3 minutes left in the game. Pound played the worst they have played all year against kelly. Kelly would have one and has one of the finer teams, but they couldn't score at will cause they tried.

Well the fact that it was in house is a little more settling. Most likely he's known for a while and has been working with the kids over the summer.

They've really wasted a bunch of time. This makes it tough on players and coach. I know a guy who was hired about the same time and he said it was nothing more than organized chaos for several weeks. It seems schools that drag their feet this long are always a step behind.

Any word on Lee High's coach? Times wasting!

The jet sweep is not as hard to stop as the counter is. The counter is what you have to worry about and Clintwood has the dicsiplined linebackers and DE's to shut that down.

I don't see holston beating Chilhowie. They are tough all the way through.

Their first string played all night. It is not like they have a ton a players to two platoon. If their second string played the first half, how did Gonzalez lead that first drive? How did Thompson make that hit. Groves was even in at reveiver at one point.

Ervinton has the same number of students they had two years ago when they won the district. Actually, they have more. They had 158 in 2006, now they have around 180. They are not closing down. They just don't have much interest right now. But in 2005, the team went 4-6 and they had only 16 players. It is par for the course for them.

Don't know what you heard, but what I saw was that coeburn dominated the LOS against PH. When they went down and distance, PH was 3 and out a couple of times and coeburn crammed it down their throat. The only time PH scored was on a busted play after they had been stopped several times. PH is no where near what they were last year, even with the addition of groves and gonzalez.
