Unbelievable lob ball and catch and score by Narrows from 35 yds out! 16 seconds left. Narrows going for the win by going for the 2 point conversion. This two point conversion decides the game.
The two point conversion good
Narrows wins! Heck of a game. 29-28 is your final score.
Wow first vs Holston and now Giles. Luck is on the gang green's side.
Chilhowie 28 Eastside 25. ES is going to be a factor in a couple years. You can see things turning around, and the youth program is in excellent shape.. The ES WR dropped the game winner:(
What are they doing still complaining about the no call on the horse collar in first quarter
Literally every bad thing that happens to Graham is somebody else's fault. How about some accountability? Bears are winning this game on the LOS-plain and simple.
Sad to see the pitiful turnout on the visitor's side.fans sitting quietly...SO UNLIKE what we are used to seeing at Richlands:( The kids played hard. They were just outmatched by a Union team which has the potential to be VERY good. The Union defense is nasty, and the QB looks so much more comfortable throwing the ball.
Just a conversation starter for tomorrow nights game..
Richlands fans, what do you want to see from your team to consider the night a “success?”
Same to Union fans. What I’d personally like to see is more of a dominate front 7 that we’ve seen all throughout the scrimmages and against Lee, aswell as continuing to put rinkles in the offense. Make defenses prepare for everything.
A lot of folks talk about how young their teams are, forgetting that Union is starting a slew of sophs,so continued maturity first is what I want to see from the Bears, and secondly, for GOD'S SAKE NO MORE STUPID 15-YARD PENALTIES!!!! Can we at least get through ONE YEAR without leading the region in that? Sorry-had to CAPS it for emphasis:)
I’m not giving up hope this year. Let’s say for conversation sake Graham is 7 points better than Union. That’s a very small gap that can be swung in either favor depending on injury’s and 2-3 plays throughout the game.
From what I’ve seen so far, Union is working hard developing their JV QB and I think he’s looked pretty good. If he continues to develop, here we come for 24 and 25.
The middle school Qb Potter is very sharp as well. The numbers are through the roof. The future for the program at UHS is very bright.
I'm looking forward to getting there. Union has some things to work on and that will be the deciding factor(s) when we host Science Hill and pay a visit to Bluefield. However, reports of Unions demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Bears Big.
I've been fortunate enough to during my workouts catch some of the Union youth football games. This program has some tremendous talent coming up as well. The future at UHS is solid.
