I think it would be well worth the shot. This isn't a game that you go out and impress your friends with. This is a game that teaches you How to impress your friends. If she wants to learn, and you don't have the time, this is perfect. She can pick it up and play it whenever she wants to, and can put it down and walk away for a few when she gets frustrated. I'd at least give it a shot.

I was the other way around. I love Rockband. And I started to dislike GH more and more.

I want to use it as a tool. If I have friends over, Ill break out the Rockband. Something that non-musicaly inclined people can have fun with. If for nothing else, it will help me personally get better at technique and soloing. And hopefully find some new songs that I love to play in my free time.

I guess I'm a rare find then, as I am a BAMF at Guitar Hero/Rockband, and can hold my own on the real deal. I can 98% every song on expert on almost every game (Through Fire and Flames being the exception).
