Hell freezes over every year. Hell, Michigan that is, but yeah, it wont happen, but im happy to see bradshaw tearin it up in the nfl. lol makes me feel good to know that someone i beat in high school had a darn good day in the NFL.

Good lord man, that was funny ive got to admit. But in all honesty, there is no possible way for grundy to win state. Being a former grundy player, i always have hope for grundy, but they just dont have the players. lol. We came within a few games of the state title with some darn good players in the early 2000's and with the teams back in the mid 90's with some of the best players in school history on those squads. So, even if the consolidated with MM (which i dont think theyll do) they still dont have the depth or the talent to win state. Dont get me wrong, i love grundy, and im a fan till my dying day, but i really doubt they'll even win 3-4 games next year, let alone state......At least know something about what your talking about before making a post as befuddled as that. Made me smile though lol.

well, if you get this up and running and actually get enough people to play, ill show up and put on some pads, lol i miss football and would love to play a little bit again, need to bring the while 2002 regional championship grundy team to play. would be fun.

Well i hope grundy wins, and im pulling for em, but i say its going to either be a close scoring ball game with a toss up on who's going to win, or, Kelly wins big.....But ill go with....Grundy 23-JJ Kelly 21

lol that play was always fun to block, just hold the block for a few seconds then run downfield and clock someone. But i am really gald to finally see grundy a game over .500.....been a while, but way to go, im rooting for you all.

I agree with you on gate city, the one time i played there it was so loud you couldnt hear the person next to ya, plus the crowd wasnt very freindly to their opponets. lol...............also would have to say hurley the past few years, due the field, its tough to start running without losing a shoe or sliding all over the place.

I certainly hope its changed. The talent has def. dropped off the last few years, and they players keep getting smaller. i was at the hospital today and saw the bus go past and watched them walk into the field house, and theres not many good sized kids on the team, maybe a few decent sized kids, but noone with the size of a albert childress, jeremy ward, bobby ratliff, matt sloan, matt lee and myself in the early 2000's id love to see them get some decent sized guys. But i havent been following the team close this year or last year for that matter, so i dont know how good they are, but even though they dont have any big guys, if you got the talent, size can be overcome. I just wish grundy could get back to its former glory, im going to try my best to be at every home game and the close away games. Seeing those kids walk off that bus and into the fieldhouse brought back alot of good memories, and i swear, even now id still trade everything i own to go back and play for grundy again. Best of luck to em. WIth that said. Grundy, t-well, graham and most of the swd, have been at the enrollment to drop down to single a for years, heck every year i was playing there was talk about dropping down, but it never happend. Dont think it will anytime in the near future, but you never know. im usually wrong bout stuff like that. just my 2 cents, if anyone reads this.

Well its good to see grundy still in the top five of the class AA list lol. Though im suprised they are due to the last couple of years, grundy has hit a nice little rough spot in the road, but grundy still being that high on the list shows how good the teams were in the early 2000's.

Well im glad for the guy, i hope that he does well for the giants. But its just cool seeing someone i played against in high school no playing in the NFL.

For some reason that sounds like someone i know, lol. But id be very happy to see grundy finally get some big strong lineman back in there. Thats been sort of missing for a few years.

Alright, I admit that was a little bit funny, but dont dis Rowe and compton. Those are two of the best coaches grundy has had, Compton did a hell of a job with defense, I enjoyed playing for those 2, albeit they could be a little on the tough side when you pissed them off, but theyre good coaches, and i dont see anyone else making fun of richlands or tazewells or grahams coaches, so just end it there.

alright, i hate to say it, but i dont really look for grundy to return to the way they played in the early 2000's for a while still. they just dont have the turnout for it, and the talent and heart is there, the size is just not. I know theyve been in the weightroom alot, but they just dont have any real big lineman. Id love to see more than 25 kids come out to play, it just never has happend, i mean, look, my junior year, 2002, we only had around 25 players and we made it to the state semi's. Grundy has always played with a lot of heart, probly more than most of the schools around, but its hard to compete with bigger schools while you cant even feild a JV team. But ranting done with, i havent been on this site in going over a year. lol........but that logo did look cool, it seems like they get better looking logos every year, theyre shirts and shorts they had the past few have looked alot better than most of the ones ive still got lol. But good logo, and i hope grundy can at least get a winning tradition back.

If bedford is anywhere near the kind of team that i played my junior year, they will beat richlands. I know they sure beat the snot out of us a few years ago. One of the few times i actually got my butt handed to me. lol...... Although im actually looking for a darn good game. a real close one if things work out for richlands. Id say ......... Liberty-Bedford 26 Richlands 20 But i wish i could see this game, but im going to go watch the giles haysi one, considering its like 10 minutes from my house. But id love to see bedford lose. Ill be rooting for richlands for just this once.
