I know they got screwed out of a championship when they played Ravenswood in 2006. Ponder this for a minute....33 foul shots for Ravenswood, 1 for Bluefield. Are you shitting me? That was a terrible game. We had them beat and we started to try to slow things down. Combined with that and terrible calls, they were able to come back and beat us. Dammit...now I am pissed off.

WE won and it sounds like it was an officials win too. They called 35 fouls on Logan and only 16 on WE. WE won this game at the line outscoring Logan by 19 there. I hope Bluefield's game doesn't turn into one of those.

WVU is countering UCONN's big men by shooting mid-range and outside shots and just plain running right past them.

They are playing well as of now in the quarterfinal game against UCONN. Joe Alexander has finally realized he can beat most people that guard him. UCONN's size isn't killing WVU, but it is evident that they have the edge in the area. Making for an exciting game so far. Just wondering who you all had winning this game and the Big East...

Yea, from what I heard from the game, they are all white guys with shaved heads and white head bands. Sounds a little neo-nazi to me... I remember that all white team they had in 2006 that seems to get all the favorable calls from the all white officiating crew. 33 foul shots to 1...something is up there I think.

If you think the Bluefield student section is good now...you should have been around the last 4 years before this one. This year's student section is a complete joke compared to years past. You have no idea what it was like to be apart of the true Beaver Nation for four years. Thank you all that were in it with me for making it fun. Honestly, the best student section I have ever seen in a high school game, was Magnolia's last year upstate. They were amazing and they had this cheer that was just plain great. Anyway...Go Beavers.

Well, this is another example of how smart our BOE is these days. Is it not just a freaking coincidence that Dr. Debra "The Man" Akers so-called "husband" Dr. "I am not a man" Akers is the principal at Princeton? I think not... Princeton has no need for new bleachers. Yea, a few of them are broke, hell I broke them. But they do not need new bleachers more than Mitchell Stadium needs new locker rooms. Anyone that has been in there knows those things are a disgrace. I also know that Montcalm needs money a hell of a lot more than Princeton. This is nothing against Montcalm, but they are the poorest school in Mercer County and there is nothing they can do about it. All they can do is ask, and their requests are just thrown to the wayside. The Mercer County Board of Education is made of up nothing but politically correct attention whores. We need to get some people in there that know the actual situations around the county. Not just in this money thing, but everything in this county. For some reason this just hit me... A few years ago, the Princeton "student section" had shirts that said "Bluefield Sucks" and had a picture of Richard Cheney on them. Were they asked to not where those shirts? Hell no. But when the Bluefield Student Section chanted a cheer with the word "hell" in it we were asked to stop. That brought back memories of JT Powell slamming Keith "Fat Boy" Taylor of the bleachers a few years ago. Hahaha. That was a great moment there... Anyway... This county is in a lot of trouble with the people we have in there now. Something needs to be done and it isn't going to be done by the people who have a say. Those people are the rich people who will give schools money for equipment and have the "untouchable" punk ass kids. We, the little men, need to step up to do something about all this bullshit.

He has great speed and his overall skill level as a CB is outstanding. That Cromartie kid from Tennessee St. had a great combine and I think he may have jumped in front of Flowers in the draft. Speed is a big deal at the CB position now and Talib and Cromartie both have much more than Flowers. I think Flowers will be a early to mid second round pick and will do well in the NFL. But I do not think he is the best CB in the draft.

So we may have seen Shaun Brooks' high school basketball career ended with two "quick" techs tonight? That is really a shame...

Just that he didn't know why he didn't play...he didn't say anything about the coach or anything. He just said, "I don't know man." I truly does hurt me deeply to not see him play. He has a great jumper and is a body in the lane. I hate to see him being left out like this...but what can we do? Warren is as nice a kid as you will ever find and he deserves to be praised for his work ethic. Nothing against any of the other players, but Warren should be Bluefield's 6th or 7th man in the game. As I sit here watching to hearing today, this is the first time I have actually seen McNamee and this guy is a weasle. What is wrong with him? He appears to be just another attention craving loser.

I have just received word that Dr. Black didn't keep the info from Ansel, but when Ansel gave the paperwork back to be sent back in (which you must do to be eligible), she forgot to send it back in. That is just plain garbage.

I think WVU's oline will be better this year than last year. They were relatively young last year and it showed sometimes. It is going to be interesting to see who they get as the fullback, because Schmitt was a montrous part of the offense and will be missed. I am suprised that WVU was ranked that low, given they hammered the preseason #2 team in the Fiesta Bowl. I know that was last year and all, but overall WVU doesn't lose a whole lot. Should be an interesting season.
