  1. I'm no legal expert at all, but I still feel the jurors made the right decision. I have no doubt that Casey Anthony knows what happened to her daughter, but that doesn't make her a murderer.
  2. The more I think about it, the less guilty she becomes in my opinion. At first I thought she was guilty, and just 30 minutes ago I stood by it, but now I'm doubting it.
  3. While I think she is guilty, the evidence isn't compelling enough to me.
  4. It would be a group decision with the guys who are in it. I don't mind playing 4 minute quarters or whatever you guys decide.
  5. I personally liked the demo. Dynasty and RTG have been revamped. Defense has been improved where zones actually work. Whole new tackling engine which will take getting used too, no more hit sticking every tackle.
  6. Uh, I play Heisman either on 6 or 7 minute quarters. Mess around with the sliders a bit and just see what feels like the most realistic. I usually just play a few "play nows" and mess around with it. Yeah, I just preordered it today.
  7. Who all is getting it? Release is on the 12th! Also, anyone interested in starting an online dynasty (360) upon release?
  8. I was in DC for the quarterfinal as well. I was also in Boston for the thrashing at the hands of Spain. It's not that Mexico is better than us, we are pretty much even in terms of talent, but their speed against our inexperienced back line was the story of yesterday's match.
  9. (Note: I'm a die hard US supporter. I will never lose faith in our boys, nor turn my back to them.) Where to start, where to start. Well, I guess I will start by saying congratulations to Mexico. Many teams would have pouted and such and not been able to rebound like you did. Also, tip of the hat to Gio Dos Santos, amazing chip and easily the goal of the tournament. So enough talk about Mexico winning, I can feel my stomach acid coming up my throat. I'm honestly speechless right now (I know I'm contradicting myself, but it took me 5 minutes to write those 5 words). We have a DREAM start and go 2-0 up against the run of play. You couldn't have asked for a better start to a final of a major tournament. And then the entire freaking engine fell out of our team and Mexico goes on to score 4 straight en route to the Confederations Cup berth (which I'm more upset about than the silly game). It's not that we lost that makes me upset, I'm used to that by now being a die hard US national team supporter, it's the way we lost. 1st Mexican goal: horrible defending, 2nd Mexican goal: horrible defending, 3rd Mexican goal: horrible defending, 4th Mexican goal: horrible defending with a little bit of magic from Dos Santos. Bocanegra played his *** off for 90 minutes and the other three basically took the night off. Goodsen is too slow and can't defend for feces. Bornstien hasn't played all tournament and you throw him in 10 minutes into the game (however, Dolo did get hurt which was a huge loss for us). I'm hesitant to give Lichaj a pass because he moved over to right back, but he still played awful tonight. Like Lichaj, I'm also hesitant to give Tim Howard a pass, but he could have done better on three of the shots. Not saying it was his fault, but he's had better games. On to the midfield, WHERE was Jermaine Jones at?!?!?!?! He is our best true midfielder. Virtually unnoticed tonight. I thought Bradley played well, along with Donovan both notched goals. Dempsey had a solid game as well. Freddy Adu, hat's off to you young man. Excellent two performances these past few games. He was never going to be the player we (excuse me, the media) thought he would be, but his a darned good footballer. Agudelo was a spectator and didn't do much in the second half. There is a breakdown on the players, now onto the coach: Bob Bradley. I appreciate all that he has done for American soccer, but his time is up. He's done about as a good as a job as he could have done, and can't take this team to a higher level. It's been too inconsistent throughout his tenure, and it has been filled with joyous moments (win over Spain) and very low points (loss to Panama and today). He reached his peak in the 2009 Confederations Cup, and it has been a steady decline since then. You might say, "He got us into the Round of 16 at the World Cup" which is true, he did, but let's take a closer look. We were expected to get out of arguably the easiest group in the entire tournament, and we BARELY made it. It took a stoppage time goal against ALGERIA, to do it. Secondly, we had probably the easiest Semifinal draw in World Cup history (Ghana, Uruguay) and we couldn't do it. Let's not forget his decision to start Ricardo Clark in that game, only to take him out before the 40th minute. In his defense, he started the right lineup tonight; however, when Dolo went down, his sub with Bornstien completely turned the game around. It moved Lichaj to the right (not his natural position) and put our worst defender on the pitch. Why was Bornstien even on the bench? Why not put in a RB like Spector. Why not have Gooch on the bench! WHY BRING GOOCH TO THE SQUAD IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO PLAY HIM! I'm just so frustrated right now. He needs to go. BUT, let's look on the bright side. Our youth looks extremely good in Adu, Agudelo, Lichaj, not to mention Chandler and Holden who were out of this tournament with rest and injury. Our holding midfield duo played pretty well overall. Dempsey and Donovan, will continue to be Dempsey and Donovan in Brazil. Now it is time to regroup as a whole, and begin the all important process of World Cup Qualification. It's not going to be easy, but we will be favorites to qualify for Brazil 2014, and that's the main goal. END RANT
  10. Were they in the upper varsity group or varsity? If they were just in the varsity group, they v very well may have been playing Radford's JV team. I know GW and Radford put their varsities in the upper varsity group and their JV's in the varsity group. GW is at Liberty this week with 4 teams.
  11. Everyone is like...he had a triple double and what not last night. Well too bad that doesn't matter. What does matter is: A) They lost. B) He was -11 in +/- C) 2 pts in the 4th quarter (and essentially the Mavericks gave them to him) He's a brilliant player. His attitude has finally caught up with him and he's reaping what he has sewn.
  12. It's beyond terrible. I hate fair weather fans. I'm a Hornets fan and supported them through their 18-and whatever season they had a few years back. I'll be a Hornets fan until I die no matter how they play. Where these Heat fans two years ago? Non-existent.
  13. True, but they will now face two of the best teams in the western part of the state for a shot at the finals or even SEMIS, where they will still have to battle an Altavista or Franklin in the final.
  14. I like Amhersts...the Lancers.
  15. • A player in the act or just after throwing a pass. Did everyone else read the fine print at the bottom???? I honestly like the idea of flag football. It's exciting to watch...for 5 year olds.
  16. I see GW, Radford benefiting big time from this. Gate City, Clintwood, JI Burton and Essex are the big "losers" IMO. Clintwood and JI Burton went from having to beat each other (and a Region C team that is still in the division) to make the state finals, now to having to go through two of the powerhouses in SWVA (not to mention Chilhowie). Gate City and Essex have to deal with the "big boys." Doesn't really affect Gate City as much, but now they have to go through Gretna in their own half and Essex is the smallest school in the East.
  17. Bryan was one of my favorite Tech players of the last decade. I guess I was trying to make the comparison that LT won't be a dazzling scrambler like Tyrod was, but his mobility will be similar to what Randall did.
  18. Maybe a Randall type? Not particularly mobile, but can run if necessary.
  19. Pun intended? It's all about breaking in Logan. He has time to get his feet wet a bit. Nervous about the trip to Greenville. I say 10-2 or 9-3 like UVAO said.
  20. And they always seem to get it done.
  21. If GW doesn't run away with it I would be surprised.
  22. I still don't understand why we are "celebrating" his death. Yes, they "celebrated" the 9/11 attacks, but two wrongs don't make a right. I think it is ignorant to do so. Is the world a better place without him? I believe so, but any "celebration" of his death is morally wrong IMO. But again, at the same time, curiosity kills the kitten (or something like that) so I wanna see some pics! Also, don't get me wrong, I love America and what our soldiers are doing over there. I could NEVER do what they do day in and day out. I don't have the mental strength (or physical) to do that. I fully applaud their work around the world and support them 100%. Without them, I wouldn't have the freedoms I do today. So don't take this as a bash against our Army. It is not intended as one.
