A lot of way of predictions

If they were to look at getting turf for a new stadium that's roughly a 1/2 mil price tag by itself but then that doesn't last forever. Most of these turf companies only give a 8-10 year warranty with that stuff.

Beatable in the 90's and early 00's as well. Not sure about district championships but only beat Graham 3 times between 1990-2003. But Richlands certainly has been the king the past 10 years.

Speaking to a friend that worked the scrimmage, he said that Bluefield looked good just needed to fine tune some things. He also said that Christiansburg was going to have a long year if they don't dramatically improve..

Yeah everyone is entitled to their opinion and I agree no one is right, not even me. My "laughable" comment is my opinion just the same as their predictions being their opinion. I don't see the big deal?!

Richlands-state title worthy?!....GW state semi appearance?!---This is what I meant. Just think its a little early for playoff predictions considering were are still a week and half from week 1! And no i'm not a Falcon fan @2dalejrfanz haha.

These predictions on how far a team is going to make it in the playoffs come November and December based on one scrimmage is laughable!

I think things will heat up on here after the scrimmages. Not sure what Graham, has but replacing Spencer Sheets will be tough. Bluefield will be missing one of their key stars for the game, perhaps the year. I think after this weekend, Graham and Bluefield fans will have a better idea of what kind of team they have.

One bad thing with the inexperience at line is Freddy's no contact practice. I don't know if that's a good idea to keep it that way when a lot of these guys need full speed and full contact to get ready. If it doesn't change then these boys will only have limited time in 2 scrimmages in which they saw full contact before their first game.

I heard a while back that EMats is in financial trouble and in delinquent status on some of its bills. One of the bills that wasn't being paid on was the bill for the turf that Emats financed for the stadium. If the turf company really wanted to, they could take the turf back. But I heard that about 6-8 months ago, and its a RUMOR so take it for what its worth....Also, this supposedly included the turf at Honaker, but like I said, RUMOR.

Let's just say legal issues, its a sad situation. Don't want to say who, but it will eventually be known i'm sure.

One of those 4 players you mentioned will not be on the team this year. Probably part of the reason for the quietness.

A couple of months ago Tazewell native Adrew Fox, a VA State Trooper, was struck and killed by a woman driving a suv while directing traffic at the VA state fair. Because of VA law the woman could only be charged with wreckless driving. She ultimatley pleaded guilty and was fined $1000-------yep thats it, $1000 fine for killing a sate trooper. Andrew's father, who is also in law enforcement, is petitioning Phillip Puckett to enact "Andrew's Law". This law would require mandatory jail time and restitution payment to a victim's family if somone kills any emergency personeel on our roadways. Please show your support and sign the petition. I looked into this as well and its my understanding it can't be done. To do mods it has to be on a file. PS3 games do not create files unless it is for saving a point in a game. If you are wanting to do mods to a game, buy the PC version. Also if you ever have a problem with your PS3, sony will fix it for you, if you hack it they won't. Mine overheated and I paid $150 for a refurbished one from Sony (better than paying $300 for a new one.) If you ever have a problem they will be able to tell if it has been hacked and you will be stuck buying a new one instead of having it fixed or replaced.

You got that right. The two schools that Richlands lost to both from the same district, both from the Roanoke area.

Calm down there hoss! All I'm being is a realist. I'd love to see them go far just dont see it happening. The only team that the Blues played that matched up with their size and speed they lost to. But like I said I would like to see them go far, I just don't think its going to happen this year. Good luck to the Blues.

Richlands has a chance of winning Region, but that will be it. State-Semi's will be a far as they make, if they make it to that. To many good teams once you get out of the Region.

I agree....thank you to the G-Men and especially the seniors and the coaches. They have turned this program around and have restored G-Men pride in the Bluefield community!
