  1. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Bull, the wind coming out of Richlands hasn't been a tornado, it's been a bunch of hot air coming out of everybody's mouth about how good they were this year. Back to the poll, it's Graham's championship to lose. By all rights, they should win out against the rest of the sub-par Southwest District this year. I guess they'll just crown the champion, the best of the worst. [/ QUOTE ] You are the sorest loser I have ever seen! You said on a previous post you were tired of hearing Richlands fans make plans for the playoffs...what a whiner! Take your defeat like a man...if you're capable of doing that...and concentrate on Marion, and quit obsessing over Richlands. Your jealousy is embarrassing to me as it should be to you. Are you actually reading what you are writing, or just crying as you type? You are pathetic! [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] I've never had a problem with "fair" criticism, it's the outright lies that you tell that bother me, and everyone on here sees right through you. You're looking really ignorant...the more you say, the dumber you look, so keep it up...I'm thoroughly enjoying it, and it looks like I've got some company. By the way, you made a statement earlier about the weak schedule Richlands played at the beginning of the season. If memory serves me correctly, Marion began the season playing against 3 single A teams as well...are you telling me there should be a double standard for Marion? Marion beat Northwood, who has won 1 game so far this season, and Patrick Henry of Glade Spring who is 3-4, Grundy who is 2-4 and lost to single A Chilhowie, granted a very good team this year. But still 3 single A teams. Richlands played Gate City (5-2), Honaker (3-3 with a win over Abingdon), and Powell Valley (3-3). Now tell me, who had the tougher schedule, Marion or Richlands? I guess you're saying it's just not fair for Marion to be held to the same standards as Richlands, Graham, etc. I'm sure the Marion faithful would disagree whole-heartedly. Marion is a fine school, and in the past 30 years Marion has had some darn good football teams, so don't belittle Marion by saying they're not a football school. That's just wrong.
  2. [ QUOTE ] Quit goading him with the "futbolqueen" nonsense. It gets old. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed...no more of that...the guy just brings out the worst in me.

  4. [ QUOTE ] No, it's not that I can't stand Richlands .I just can't stand fans like you, who have to build your team up to be something they're not. I never said Marion was a world- beater or even a contender for the region, but they sure gave the mighty unbeatable Richlands all they could handle. I have to hear Richlands fans make plans for the state semifinals on here all the time. Sure you look great beating up on your non-district single A teams and a very very weak Southwest district. [/ QUOTE ] I'm really sorry you have a complex like that Futbolqueen...maybe you need to seek professional help. I challange you to find one post that I have made that "builds Richlands up"...you won't find one. Until right now. I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of RHS, and you should be proud of Marion no matter what their record. Richlands compiled an unbeaten record of 33 straight regular season games, and that my friend is something to be proud of. Sorry it chaps your arse. I have a relative who teaches at Marion, and she is very supportive of the Scarlet Hurricane, just as everyone is proud of their team. Marion played a very good game against the Blues, they just came up a little short because they are one-dimensional. If they had a passing game they could have won, but you argue the point that Marion has a passing game, which shows your ignorance. You want to slam me because I love my team, well go for it Queenie...you're just jealous as it obviously shows on your post. Grow up or crawl in a corner and continue to suck your thumb. Tired of hearing Richlands make plans for the playoffs...waaaaa...You're just a big baby...grow up FutbolQUEEN!!!
  5. [ QUOTE ] That's a scenario that has a really good chance of happening. Richlands folks apparently haven't come down to earth yet, even with a loss to Graham and narrowly defeating Abingdon and Marion. Bluefield just may rock their world and bring them down to earth. I'll repeat what I've been saying ALL year long...Richlands is good, but only a shadow of what they were the past two seasons. Now, I'll sit back and wait for all the Richlands fans to criticize me for stating the obvious. [/ QUOTE ] I don't have a problem with what you've said here, all I have a problem with is your constant whining about "what might have been" in Marion's two loses to Graham and Richlands. Stop crying about penalties and take your loses with class.
  6. [ QUOTE ] I'm not saying "what if". I'm saying Quit claiming Richlands is the best thing since sliced bread. The guy said Marion is one-dimensional and he is wrong. He's basing it on one game and even in that game, they were able to pass the ball around. I'm just telling the clown to quit making comments if he doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, you're right futbolqueen, Marion filled the air with footballs Friday night keeping the Blues guessing all night whether or not they were going to break the big gainer through the air. Check your stats queenie...Marion has no passing game, so as it turns out this "clown" does know what he's talking about. Marion is one-dimensional. That's why they lost to Chilhowie, Graham, and Richlands. I don't know which games you have seen, but if you watched the games you would know that. I'm not basing that on one game, I'm basing that on the season so far...like I said, check your stats queenie. I will continue to call you out on your ridiculous posts because you obviously no nothing about the game of football...you just can't stand Richlands. Nobody said Richlands is the best thing since sliced bread either...those are your words...when we lost to Graham, we accepted defeat with class, something you will never recognize. All you know how to do is make excuses and cry about "what might have been" in both the Graham game and the Blues game. Grow up FutbolQUEEN!!!
  7. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Then go watch the game and quit reading the message board. It appeared to me that Marion scored with the "pass" against Richlands. You obviously have seen Marion play ONE time this year. You've probably been reading too many message boards. [/ QUOTE ] Like I said futbolqueen, it was a holding penalty that was called because the defender was "tackled" that would have made the play...stop your whining. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not making excuses for the Blues...I don't have to...Richlands won the game, remember?

[/ QUOTE ] Like I said futbolqueen, it was a holding penalty that was called because the defender was "tackled" that would have made the play...stop your whining.
  9. [ QUOTE ] Marion played Richlands very well. Had several scoring chances. Had a touchdown called back in the 4th and a missed field goal, which could have made a different out-come. It was a good game to watch. Don't discount Richland's win, because it was only by two against Marion. Marion is a very solid team this year. Everybody dismissed them when they lost to Chilhowie in the first game, but I truly belive that if Chilhowie were in the Southwest District, they'd be competing for a district championship. Richlands is a decent team, but not nearly the caliber team they were last year...they may very well end up with a solid record and high playoff expectations and may even win Region IV...who knows (Region IV is the weakest I've seen it in 30 years...), but they are in for a RUDE awakening if they get beyond that point. [/ QUOTE ] Marion is one-dimensional and Richlands was playing with the walking wounded. With everyone healthy Richlands wins this game by 2 touchdowns easily. Marion doesn't throw the ball effectively and it has cost them two loses...one to Graham and one to the Blues. As for Richlands being in for a RUDE awakening, that's why they play the game on the field, and not on a freakin' message board. Also, Richlands doesn't need you to tell them not to discount their win just because it was only by two, and in the same breath point out that the 4th quarter touchdown was called back...it wouldn't have been a touchdown if the guy from Marion hadn't tackled the defender, that's why they called the holding penalty...Marion also complained about being "cheated in the loss to Graham..my gosh, quit crying and take the loss like a man...and as for the missed field goal, that's also part of the game. You have to make 'em in the clutch.
  10. [ QUOTE ] I remember the old maroon and gray color scheme. I graduted RHS in 1969, when Richlands' colors were a lighter blue and white. Saltville Shakers colors were also maroon and gray, the same color scheme as Graham. If memory serves me, Graham had the big "Green Bay Packer G" on the helmets...I always thought that was a bad ass helmet! [/ QUOTE ]I should have said RB Worthy Shakers...from Saltville. They had some pretty good teams back in the 60's too!

  12. OSU...Mustang or Camero? (Old school)
  13. [ QUOTE ] i started reading it...read maybe 4 or 5 lines...gave up. [/ QUOTE ] Me too...good grief, he must have really given that a lot of thought...sorry I lost interest after the first 4 or 5 lines as well...wasted space.
  14. [ QUOTE ] King James better chance to win AL pennant, yankees or red sox? [/ QUOTE ] THIS ONE WASN'T ANSWERED...YANKEES THIS YEAR
  15. [ QUOTE ] we could have beat richlands we showed that we could in the first quater last night but hopefully we can bounce and win the rest of the games i mean really it was 0-0 but then we quit [/ QUOTE ] That's why the game is played for 4 quarters, not just 1. Lots of teams have played Richlands well early, but only one team has beaten the Blues. Tazewell is a young team, and they have some good kids playing hard, but they are last in the district because they are not very good...sorry!
  16. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Sounds like someone else has the craps [/ QUOTE ] But its coming out of the wrong end in his case. [/ QUOTE ] HAHA.....I just noticed that......thanks for not being too harsh on me for my typo... I meant, He comes up lame with Cramps alot of times during the year And no I havent been to many RHS games....only the Grid-o-rama and the abingdon The cramps excuse is coming from RHS fans I know.......more than 3....so whats a guy to think? [/ QUOTE ] The thing that bothers me the most about this post is you have admitted not going to many RHS games, and you make a statement about a high school player like that based on what someone else has told you.. The only information you have is hear say, so you really don't know what you are talking about, do you?
  17. Give a lot to worthy charities...300 mil...a lot could be 10 mil. King James or NIV?
  18. [ QUOTE ] Vick is a person who has differntly polarize the Va Tech community. He has shown alot of bad judgement and people just want keep giving him second and third chances. He pick the wrong state to screw-up in. He needs to been in California right OJ. [/ QUOTE ] Couldn't have said it better myself...unless I was LITERATE!!! Do you read before you post?
  19. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Congrats g-men on the victory... wonder what's being said on the blues personal message board tonight? [/ QUOTE ] Not sure what they are saying but it sounds like that board has been invaded by a bunch of crickets.... [/ QUOTE ] Probably too busy eating some crow on that side of Tazewell County today. Their reality check bounced. [/ QUOTE ] It's comments like this that create hate between the two schools. Absolutely classless. Everyone I know on the Richlands side has had nothing but good things to say about an absolutely great football game between two "warriors" on the football field. I am proud of the Graham G-Men for their victory, and I wish you all well for the remainder of the season. Maybe we will meet again, and if we do it will be another awesome football game. Both sides played their hearts out, and nobody is "eating crow"...we're supporting our team in defeat just as we did in victory. [/ QUOTE ] Of course you say that.....after you lost... [/ QUOTE ] It's harder to say it after a loss than after a victory. I believe after Marion's loss to Graham all I heard was a bunch of babies crying over a bad call. The classy thing to do is say, "ok, you kicked our butts, we'll see you next time". Instead, some of the Marion fans were making excuses. Richlands supporters showed class after the loss to Graham...you could learn something from that...stop your whining futbolqueen
  20. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] IMO it will be close the first half and then it will get blowed out the water... [/ QUOTE ] I think it will be closer than 40 points. I'm saying 27-13 Blues. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, if Richlands only beats T-town by two TDs...something is WRONG... [/ QUOTE ] I'm probably gun-shy after last week...I hope you guys are right. RHS has had some great practices from what I hear. I just learned my lesson last week...I under-estimated Graham obviously. I felt like the Lee Corso of High School football!
  21. [ QUOTE ] I wouldn't call Mike Compton a blow-hard to his face for $100. That's one big mother. [/ QUOTE ] Neither would Tiddy Bitty. He's brave on here, but I'll guarantee you he's all BLUFF and no STUFF! Sounds like he's the blow hard to me.
  22. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Mike Compton field house [/ QUOTE ] After the biggest blow-hard in RHS history. That would be perfect! [/ QUOTE ] You're not a blow-hard if you can back it up...and would you have the guts to say that to Mike's face? That could be arranged!
