Chilhowie pulled their starters toward the end of the game. It was 35-14 with starters. The last 8 or so minutes were played with mixed reserves at first until entirely the second team.

I say 12. 8 leaves open the possibility of omitting a district champ.

First of all, you win today. I've been looking for a Fries helmet for over a year and never once thought to check YouTube. Secondly, it appears that only a few of the helmets had what I assume is a tiger paw (much like the old Haysi helmets) and the ones that did have it only had it on one side. The rest of the helmets were blank. Very interesting. At any rate, THANK YOU.

I doubt they play for the Reg D championship as both were Region C and the regions don't exist anymore. Beyond that, Radford is down and they play each other the second game of the year anyway. I do anticipate, however, that George Wythe will go far in the West-D1 sectional if not further.

What font was the "R"? For the plain white helmets, was the facemask also white? I'm assuming the 60's facemask was gray as most were...?

Thanks! I just saw a Whitewood one recently from late 90's that was Maroon with a white mask and had the FSU Spear on it but I couldn't get the color scheme figured out.
