Anybody have final for the boys game?

I agree, Grundy played 4 out of 5 school nights last week. The snow storm hurt almost everybody schedule and now they have to make up the games, part of it.

So as the district games has started up what is everybodys opinion on what has happen so far? Any disapiontments or surprizes? I think Graham is defently the team to beat, there the only team without a district lost so far. I think rest of it is wide open, from the sounds of it Marion is not as bad as everybody made them out to be...they gave Richlands there first lost on the season, beat Grundy in ot. Richlands is hard team to tell, they beat Abington and stayed undefeated for awhile but Twin Valley had the lead on them going into the 4th quarter without Lucas and the Bulldogs beat them (seen Tazewell play early in the season didn't look to hot.) Grundy has played good aganist the local teams but kind of got some luck (played Hurley without Tyler C., played Twin Valley without Lucas, played Haysi without Fleming) they took Marion to ot but lost, played Abington good but the Falcons shot great froms 3s that night and beat them and they beat Tazewell pretty easily. The lost to the G-men also but so has everybody that has played them in the district so far. What you guys think?

Grundy will win district by a landslide, that simple.

I would like to know when this game is if it hasan't been played yet.

I heard that Grundy won 55-53 (Varsity Boys that is) Anybody have stats or a recap on what happened? I also heard in the jv boys game Grundy ran away with it.

Kind of surprized that Twin Valley had the lead going into the 4th...ever since Lucas has been out they haven't looked so hot from what I have heard.

They played all 4 games today/tonight (jv girls, jv boys, varsity girls, varsity boys.) Does anybody have scores to the games? Also stats and any recaps of the varsity boys game when its over would be greatly appericated.

Sounds like either Twin Valley is hard off without Lucas or Hurley came out playing fired up because of the hard lost last night.

Wild game tonight, ill try to give you a small rundown. Grundy didn't play all that good, Hurley lost one of the starters in the first quarter. Tyler C. got a technial because he slamed the ball cause he got called for a walk of something (I didn't think it should been a T but oh well) and he never came back in, I don't know if it was a double T or what. Hurley was ahead the whole game till the last 3 mins, then it went back and fourth on lead changes. Hurley was ahead by 1 (I think) with 20 secs to go and had the ball cause Grundy foueld somebody...Austin Cooper turn to the student section and started taughting and all this junk and he got called for a T (keep in mind the student section yelled at him all night but he still he went to far.) They end up making one ft and missing one, went to overtime. Not alot went on in ot, Grundy made a basket and a few fts and played good D and chewed the clock till about 30 secs...which they got ahead by 7 with about 1 30 left and hurley brought back to a 2 pt game but Grundy ended makin there fts Hurley had two players that played very well, Dustin W. and Austin C. Nobody else really did a thing in my eyes. Glad to see the Wave win the County Rivaly

I heard they are playing tomorrow night as long as it don't snow anymore, which its not suppose to. Does anybody know where its suppose to be at? Any thoughts and opinions?

At the lower classes yes, plus with them C-Burg kids getting in trouble ( I heard a few of the starters got kicked off the team, don't know how many) it will only help.

So much for beating Florida and singing Rocky Top on all night long Kiffin (sorry had to throw that in, big Gator football fan) If I was UT I would try for David Cutcliffe, Butch Davis, Dan Mullen

I don't find it silly at all haha, do you actually think Lockhart who had been going to Tazewell his whole hs carrer I think and was the starter last year and has his job guranted for next year decided himself he just wanted to go to Richlands? If you do I find it weak haha, im sure some Richland fans will find a exuse for him to go but like I said before, someone had to convince him, not very surprizing though.

That is a joke. Doubt the kid decided to go on his own either, Richlands stragey is to try to develop good players which they usually do and if there weak at a postiton we go recurit a player or basically steal him from another school.

From what I heard this is still going happen tonight. I guess it will be same time (Girls Varsity start at 6 then Boys Varsity.) Does anybody know for sure that they are still playing? If so any thought and opinons?

Grundy does return most of there starters, they only lose one guy that started both ways. I haven't heard of any 6ft 300 pound guys goin out for football next year...They lost one big lineman (not really tall but pretty wide) because he was eneligbe to play because of grades and another lineman got hurt near the end of the year but he didn't play much as it was.

I heard that alot of the C-burg wrestlers got kicked out of the tourny because they got caught smoking weed, I have actually heard that from many sources.

Amen....its not cheating if you get caught, well these guys are getting caught haha.
