The Abingdon-CC game two years ago was a thriller with Abingdon stopping CC 3 times inside their own 3 yard line within the last minute for the win

Abingdon has been in every game this year. They just cannot seem to seem to finish games off. And i dont see Grundy as being on the same level as those teams they have lost to. Abingdon by 30

CC never really defended the spread all night, just like abingdon never really defended the wing-t....great game to watch though

Abingdon should win this one. They were only a few plays aways from beating Tazewell last week. I think this game will show how Abingdon's rest of the season will go.

Every year Abingdon is going to be the "soft" and "whine and cheese" team until they prove themselves. That isn't bad-mouthing Abingdon, it's just the reputation they've givin themselves over the last decade. Last year their "respect" game was Richlands. They havent had that game yet this year to open up anyones eyes and make them think differently of them. Beating JSB and PH by 40 points doesnt cut it. They have to be able to beat or be physical to a good SWD team. Maybe not right or fair, but that's just the way it is.

Abingdon should have opened some eyes last year and earned little respect but it doesnt look like it...abingdon is a hard nosed football team-yes they will have to prove it but we have to remember that the kids cant help who they play, all they can do is go out preform...

no players quit but keep in mind that abingdon lost to chilhowie in their benefit game last year too and ended up having a very good year...

has battle even scored against abingdon the last couple years?

abingdon gave up 3 big plays for scores in that game-2 big pass plays and one kick off return- they also have a young QB that still has some growning to do.

well the coaches didnt do a very good job pickin

abingdon did well but just gave up too many big plays- 2 long pass plays along with a kick-off return for a touchdown killed them but overall not as bad as the score shows
