Just hope we "leave everything on the field" Saturday and that the line controls the game and lets others work their magic because of their play.
Edit: Best teams I've seen was the '92 Blues (against Salem and Orange) and '95 Powell Valley team because of T.Jones. I saw him run - he was like grease up on the line left and right - then he was a sprinter.
Thanks for that link. It is one I would have missed in the morning as I hadn't planned on checking back over there.
I appreciate the guy's pick of Richlands losing 21-20 to his team but don't agree with it. Not sure he realizes how good a team both Cave Spring and Brookville had seeing as how he's so negative about our schedule. But, that's what I love about this sport ... it'll be decided by the kids tomorrow afternoon and we just have to be patient. Can't wait, GO BLUE!

That goes a long way explaining things, because that's not a connection everyone would make.

Poquoson football blog
This blog has a few write-ups about the James Monroe game (Region I final) and the Nottoway game (Region I semifinal) for Poquoson. Several pics at the bottom of the main thread.
Last time I think I'd heard of Nottoway football was in 1986. Nottoway has improved their uniforms since they played Tazewell that year.

Just sharing things I've found over at the Daily Press site HRVarsity. Sorry if they're posted elsewhere.
They are not a team to look past - only loss was to Dinwiddie, who lost to Phoebus in the Div 5, AAA playoffs today.

If the Blues play their game, muscle in the trenches, then they have a shot! Good luck Richlands!!!
I looked those two up before I posted. Draft lost to Lee by three touchdowns so I went with Lee. My "why" in the post above was meant to be...why this whole discussion? If it is sh**s and giggles, then I'm for it -- don't get me wrong.
