  1. I think your numbers are off on Garden. I think they won about 4 BDD titles. Don't hold me to this but I think Garden won in 81, 83, 86 and 89. The Dragons were hard to beat back in the 80's. Hurley is 82, 92 and 2016 as previously stated and all the rest look correct.
  2. We were right. I left off two wins last night doing a quick tally. I fell asleep with my tablet in my hand. haha I edited my post after I went back to recheck my total.
  3. Tayton has around 700 yards passing with two regular season games left on the schedule. I'm not sure how many rushing yards he has. Tayton does a good job making something out of nothing when the receivers are covered. Not much passing when you have one back over 1500 yards and two more ready to get a 1000 barring any injuries. Devan is at 830ish and Zack is around 810.
  4. I like the Hensley kid. He has some wheels on him. I watched him run a 11.1 last Spring in the 100. I'm not sure what his role is but he would touch the ball.....a lot!
  5. Yay! You made a funny! Shall we give you the "poster of the week award" or wait till all votes are in? I think all votes will be tallied on Wednesday.
  6. The total for Hurley is off just a little due to Grundy not receiving credit for defeating Riverview WV. It should be 180. I'm not sure what the hold up is with the VHSL. Hurley has the possibility of having 30 point weeks back to back that would give them the max of 242. It could very well be in the 236 to 238 range if things dont go as planned. It should be interesting the next two weeks. Good luck to everyone!
  7. Wing-t principles....block down.....kick out....touchdown! Glen McNew has came in the last three Summers to teach the Hurley kids from 7th grade up how to run the wing-t. Some of you WV guys may know him from being head coach of Morgantown High and he also had a brief stint at Richlands in the 60's.
  8. Dang. I wanted to edit a post and it went south fast. Lol Could a mod. delete two of these for me? One will do.
  9. Devin Tester for Hurley has quietly rushed for 700 yards and some change this season.
  10. Honaker ain't going to come to The Cliff and just lay down. The Tigers have history on their side, they have good coaches and they have something to play for....a playoff spot. The Jimmy's and Joe's ain't there like years past but they are still decent. It should be a good game
  11. Everyone has forget Castlewood. They are 5-2.
  12. Hurley did their talking on the field! Yall said Hurley hasn't played anyone.......you are right.....Hurley still ain't played anyone this year!!!!!
  13. I doubt it. Grundy has a good group of skill kids and so does Hurley. It should make for a good game.
  14. It is the drive. Hurley and Grundy both have trouble scheduling games. Grundy use to not have much trouble when they were in SWD but when you just got three district games it creates problems looking for seven more games.
  15. Probably not but the AD sent them a contract 6 months ago. The two teams played at TV and everything seemed to be a go for next season. Last week at a JV game between the two schools they decide they don't want to play. You don't string a team along for six months. It's either yes or no. Teams fill schedules fast and it will be hard to get ten games by next Fall.
  16. Nope. Wasn't ridgeview. Close in name though
  17. Lol I don't think I could handle the rigors of keeping up with a cheerleading wife. Might be fun for awhile but I would probably get tired of people saying "is that your daughter". Haha
  18. The Hurley High AD wanted me to post that Hurley needs two games for the 2017-2018 season. Week 1, week 4 and week 6 is available. Hurley picked up Eastern Montgomery, Pike Central KY and Tug Valley WV for the next cycle. Holston, Twin Springs, Castlewood, Eastside and Shelby Valley KY dropped Hurley for next season. Why? IDK.The AD thought he needed just one more game but a AA school that is 45 minutes from Hurley decided last week they would rather play Tazewell after Hurley beat them in a scrimmage in August. Anyway, you can contact Mark Cooper at Hurley High School with the following numbers 566-7088, 566-8334 and 566-7642.
  19. Really bruh? Grammar nazi? I will correct it since it bothers you.
  20. My wife has family that attends PH so I hope they do well. Palmer is a good coach. I thought he did really well at St.Paul with the small enrollment they had towards the end. Seems be doing a good job at PH.
  21. You like? said the guy whose Catholic priests can't stay out of little boys pants!
