  1. Not sure when Richlands changed, but when my dad played there back in the 60s their blue was much lighter than today. I'm a Graham alum, and I like going back to the old helmets. That said, I just hope they decide to play some defense this year.
  2. Averaged 5.2 wins per year, and made it to the second round twice - those are Bob Mullet type numbers.
  3. Agree with you CPF - and I'll bet this dad's kids got the message
  4. I tried the low carb thing, lost weight, then gained it all back. The only thing I've found to work is counting calories. I got a free app on my phone called my fitness pal and I was amazed at how many calories i was eating. I'm sure there are other tools that are similar. It helps you identify how many calories you need to target to meet your desired weekly weight loss. It works well for me cause you can scan store bought items, it has a list of restaurant food, and you can just input the number of calories if you know it.
  5. not taking anything away from Bradshaw, but it seems odd that there is sign for him and no sign for Bill Dudley who is in the pro football hall of fame (unless I just haven't seen it).
  6. william campbell has definitely had some success, so perhaps that would be better than fleming (but I don't know either guy). Jack Baker being a VMI grad sounds interesting. Although VMI has a horrible football history, the discipline instilled there has generated some good leaders. I'm curious if Baker has any connection to Graham??
  7. ok CPF, I'll take your word for it since it seems like you have some connections. So, from your previous posts, the six are: wyatt, remines, woodward, william fleming guy, sparks, and one unknown. From those, would wyatt be considered a front runner? I would have to think he would be the pick over remines, woodward, and sparks. don't know about the william fleming guy (or the unknown). btw, if it seems like I'm restating things that have already been posted, it's because I'm trying to refocus the thread on "new graham coach" stuff instead of bashing the late Coach Carlock's history as AD.
  8. thanks Hacker. I just have to wonder ... if he applied for the job, then he would have understood the financial implications (and perhaps is willing to accept). If he is one of the finalists then I would think it would be hard to justify hiring anyone over him.
  9. I have heard that Colobro's sister works at Dudley. Anybody know this to be true?
  10. I'm gonna keep hoping that one of the other two is Colobro.
  11. heard that one of the five getting the second interview is Randy Sparks who was apparently Tazewell's middle school coach. I don't know anything about him.
  12. heard that the field has been narrowed down to 5 (from 18) and that those 5 have been called back for a second interview.
  13. I agree that either of those "candidates" would be a big mistake. Large managed to make Bluefield's basketball team look clueless at times, and just the rumor of John Lilly leaving Beckley has the flying eagle fans excited.
  14. Any update on the interviews? Anybody actually confirmed to interview? Are the interviews complete? Did they give candidates a timeframe as to when they expect to fill the position?
