I dont know of a better team coming up thru the ranks that Chilhowie team. 8th grade on they have been dominant. I watched them play as 8th graders - dominant. I think they win by 20 points or more. They have the players & coaching to do it. I think they will be undefeated when they play my rebels. I also think my rebels will be undefeated at that point too. Both should be in the Super 7 then and it will be exciting. Go REBELS!

Oh my he is back. Falcongirl when did it become popular to down the confederate history in this country? The rebel flag is about heritage and not about hate. Been saying this for years. Want to give GW a thumbs up on a good season. I used to hate them more than I do now. Ha They've hired some fellow Rebels up there and seem to be doing a good job. Coach B is missed down here. Looks like he had that defense playing. Was hoping to see a school from the West win it besides Galax.

My Rebels have had two tough weeks but still think they have a run left in them. Our RB going down this past Friday wasn't good but do feel he will be ok. My wife reminded me to have faith and that's just what I'm going to do. I think the Rebels can rebound and think Brown can step up if we don't have Dakota. I've seen Chilhowie and think we're evenly matched. What do you guys think on this one?

George Wythe has been the gold standard for the majority of the Hogo years. I respect that because of guys like you. I do not like to admit it but respect it. I think it speaks volumes about the job Coach Palmer has done at PH to be talked about a possible win at George Wythe this week. Really think it would be a great story for us to send you guys out with a loss. Respectfully. I think our boys believe but time will tell.

I know some of you will pick against us since we lost to Marion. I disagree. The game was much closer than the score. The pass interference and roughing call really hurt us. I think if those were bad calls. Rebels will face GW this week and believe or not its will be the last time we will meet in the regular season. Coach will have them ready. We shut Clintwood down with a victory couple years ago. Hoping we do it with this crew in Wytheville. Our boys want to get the bad taste out of their mouth after last Friday and no better way than to get a win over GW. Last year proved we can play with them. Rebel faithful has circled this one for a year. I think it will be a classic one. Go Rebels.

Dont understand how my Rebels move from #2 last week to #3 this week after a win on Friday? Looks like a system that doesn't make sense. But lot of football to be played. Think if we go 10-0 we may be #1 seed? Just asking

Isaac is as tough as they come. Agree with comment on Seymore. He will hit you and hit you hard. Turning point in the game Firday was when he picked off that pass and took it to the house. Great speed, big hitter. Thought Humphreys hurdles were simply awesome. Rebels are for real. Go Rebels

Castlewood beat Honaker and John Battle beat Lebanon. Those are two good wins for those schools. I believe the Rebels have stepped up and shown they can win big games. There will be tests in the season but I feel something special with this team. The defense is playing good. I've been more impressed with Dakota on defense this year. Hes just been a man out there. Hard hitting linebackers and speed in the secondary. This team is special. Its good to see our fellow Hurley Rebels are undefeated too. Good luck to you guys and Go Rebels.

There's been alot of talk about teams on this board this year that are undefeated, Hurley, Galax, Abingdon, Richlands, but theres one that everyone has overlooked Patrick Henry. The Rebels showed alot of guts Friday night when QB Zane Seymore hooked up with WR Alex Davenport to win the game against John Battle with 14 seconds left. The Rebels are 4-0 and according to what I hear, we are number 1 in the rankings. Why arent you guys talking about them? Thats ok, Coach Palmer has us rolling and we are fine being the underdogs. I just think this team has all the right pieces to make something happen. We are playing great defense, we can throw it and run it and the added bonus our kicker isn't bad eithier. Big things are happening in Glad Spring, you heard it hear first. Go Rebels!!!

He's the best back I've seen come through PH. No doubt. I think he's the best in the state as well. We love the doubters. Coach always says no one believes in the Rebels but time will tell. Proof will be in pudding. Go Rebels.

I've read some of the threads and was surprised by some of the predictions. Not many has put Patrick Henry up there as a serious contender. I think the Rebels have a good chance to turn some heads. Have the best running back, solid line, and the QB has been throwing the ball well. I just was wondering who you folks thought could contend for a the 1A crown. Who do you think can give my Rebels trouble and if you think we can win it all? Go Rebels!

It was also good to see all the stands on our home side fill up. Like to see that continue through the playoffs.

That was a game. As good as I've seen the Rebels play since last year at Clintwood. The Rebels were not going down without a fight. We had a lot of fight in us. Proud to see that. We didn't have that in the Holston game. Cavdaddy is sour because this group has beat his Cavs all the way through little Rebel - middle school - varsity. We cant let up these next two weeks. Have to keep mashing the gas pedal and keep it going. Go Rebels.

I wasn't going to say much but I have to say this. We have one of the best backs in SWVA. He is averaging well over 200 yards a game. He told me after the Marion game that his goal was to get 2000 yards this year. He is on pace to do that. Thats his personal goal. He wants to win a state title more. These boys are a close brotherhood. But the Rebels have more than one weapon. Expect Palmer to put the team in situations to be successful tonight. The QB can run and throw. We may just put the ball in the air tonight. May even open up the offense a bit. But we will tighten down when its time and Dakota will show why he is the best. He is the best I've ever seen. I look for the Rebels to turn heads tonight. I told our boys this one is big. Go Rebels

Don't count these boys out so fast. They have stepped up to the plate this year. If the defense plays good then I think we will be there in the end. The offense has weapons on the outside. Not the same PH team as in the past. Expect the Rebels to shock the world. Go Rebels!

It was a rival game and the best team won. I thought the rainbow pass Seymore threw to Buchanan was nice. It was like dropping it in a bucket. PH is 5-1 and are playing good ball. Go Rebels!

Coach Palmer is not going anywhere. He's all REBEL. He always tells our kids Rebel born, Rebel bred, and when I die, I'll be Rebel dead. He has taken this program farther than any other coach. It has been all him and we are very happy. Dakota is a go on this game. I think he and the Seymore kid will show up tonight and light that scoreboard up. Go Rebels.

Just got a call from my wife. PH vs RR moved to Monday.

The Rebels are for real. The running back is the best I've seen play high school football and believe the qb for us is the best in the district. He can run it and throw it. Big weapon outside with the Buchanan kid. Our defense is playing good too. I think this will be a good game Friday but don't be shocked if you see the Rebels on top. Go Rebels!

I think the PH/Holston is a great small school rivalry.

Zach has been a blessing to the Rebels. I wanted him to come to PH for a long time. Glad to have him. I think the Rebels are finally playing good defense and that makes me happy. Their OLine is strong and will play hard. Excited to see them play this week. Go Rebels.
