I understand that and agree. But when the budget is tight and the band can not even go gc why go 2 hrs up the road. We have patrick co and pulaski co can never spell them next year. But they are not fairing so well this year. Year in and year out gc and pv win this year not so for pv but the scheduling is a hit or miss. Graham got cave spring for a couple years cause when they made the deal they thought graham was the best in the swd right now big wrong. I know mance would not run the score up but the starters are going to have to play more than a half game all year. Richlands is 6-0 but thr starters have only played 3 at best and all the teams we will see in ther redion champ and so on have played the intire game in all the games. Yea we are getting valuble time for the jv guys but can the starters play an entire game full speed its been a while.

I know it is still a young season but here is the top two place in each region as of week 5 Region I is 1) bruton 22.66 2) poquoson 21 Region II is 1) warren co. 22 2) goochland 21.33 Region III is 1) northside 22.8 2) brookville and liberty (bed) tied at 22.4 Region IV is 1) richlands 22 2) grundy 21

I agree but when it comes to the points system they get great points cause halifax is div 5. Remember about 5 yrs ago a 9 an 1 team got put out by a 6 an 4 tram cause of points that's my point right now martinsville is in by points

look you can not use salem to compair any team they are like richlands as soon as the coach feels the game is in had the younger players go in. like the for talked of abingdon everyone that was at that game knows it would have been alot worse. so unless salem played their starters the same amount of time you can only guess. I would not book any rooms in brookville just yet

I agree you look at the scores some weeks and they put up alot of points but its a one and done. that is in not playing younger kids and just woried about the score for that week. thats not how to build a dynasty like salem and i would not be going to far to say richlands. go big blue do not over look the dogs:p

if the playoffs started this week the six region 4 teams would be 1. richlands 22.0 2. grundy 21.0 3. cave spring 20.2 4. martinsville 16.4 5. marion 15.0 6. tunstall 11.8 7. graham 9.2 8. tazewell 8.2

Thanks did not have the final on the rivershead thought they won it was 7 6. So rig 4 6 teams. Richlands marion grundy cave spring it depends but I would say martinsville on points they beat a div 5 team in halifax co so that's 5 tunstall at this point would be num 6

I would say wait one min on the martinsville match up brookville got them week one I would have to say as a blues fan to the core the gc game I think would be alittle closer if they played say week 4 instead of week 1 and one other thing martinsville getting better they beat div 5 halifax co. This week so let's see after liberty. If you want to conpair scores brookville has played 1 div 1 2 div 3 and 2 div 4 liberty has played 4 div 4 schools 159 to 51 so well see this week brookville finishes with 4 div 4 schools so it does not get easier I think they lose 2 out of the last 5

Warren co. From front royal is 4 an 0 in region 2 and bruton in region 1 I think they are also 4 an 0. If you look at region 4 grundy marion and the blues but sombody else has to make it who will it be

Agree and don't forget about northside and alleghany in 2 weeks dose anyone know anything about wilson memorial did not see this weeks score but if they won they are 4 and 0 they play in the southern valley stuarts draft r.e. lee rockbridge co. Some of the teams in their dist

I think it will be a learning game for the freshman for bluefiled I agree if he can handle the pressure that the devils will put on him bluefield wins by 10 if not gc by 7

I've been keeping up with all of div 3 teams in the state I've heard twice that northside has had some luck. Going to salem tonight so we'll see. Liberty is the team I think will win reg 3. Monticello think I spelled them right is the team you'll see in the finals they are 4 and 0 and that has been against 2 div 4s and a div 5 school so that will be interesting if we stay humble and make it that far. While leaving the game Friday I over heard a parent from abing. Say that's ok we will go up to tazewell and whoop some a$$. I told him not to count his chickens before they hatch never ever pulled for tazewell but please if your going to win a district game do it Friday they do not recpect anyone. And that opinion comes from the actions of people at the game in person not this site and a few idiots.

Grundy has no speed watched them kill tv on the score board only they had a harder time with a very small team than what the score showed richlands by 21

WOW Is the game in that big of a blowout state that we have to talk about the bands. I do agree the bands is or has went down real fast but I guess if your football team gets beat by small / tiny schools id start watchin the band to.

Will lowe rhs in the first three games he has been unstopable and he is even running the ball this year. The rb from gc name just is not coming to me he is a great rb.
