Ok guys, name one sport they beat us in the past 7 years? Not One! We dominated them in every sport while I was at Abingdon and continue now to do the same. So enough about patrick henry. I need you Big O, Southy needs ya, and so do the Falcons. Its about time we have some back up on here. This board is laced with tremendous hatred toward Abingdon and they can't handle the truth and stubbornness Southy and I display. You see, when I first joined I came out like a lamb and quickly learned how Marion, Richlands, and pretty much everyone disliked the Falcons. So much so, Southy and I teamed up to defend our town and our school. With one keystroke at a time, I think we brought attention to the fact that we don't have to take it. Our folks have noticed the hard effort and applaud them. Why at this year's Highlands Festival I heard an old man saying good things about 2 people: Falconman and Southbound. I almost introduced myself but ended up getting pulled away from the boothe to get a fake tatoo with my girl (long story). But the only way to deal with bullies is to give it right back to them. This board can't handle the fact that we dominated every sport last year except for football; and now, that football is on the rise, they are about to die. In two years, the only talk on here will be how the Falcons won and I will say I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

I thought I would never admit this but here it is: now that I am grown up, I regret not playing football. Coaches begged me to play but I was too busy to. But, I do recall those classic JV games of watching the Falcons lay the smack down on other teams. Classic JV Falcon Football is simple, we use multiple athletes that showcase their speed and talent and put the ball in the end zone. Classic JV Falcon Football games were my favorite and I loved watching them. I hear this years group is something special. I haven't got a chance to see them because after taking a year off, I am back at highlands and have a Monday night class.:(

Is it just me or do guys from Marion always seem to have a sly comment about the Falcons. Listen, your opinion about the Falcons will change about as many times as you change your man thong (never) so keep ya filthy arse opinion to yourself and we will see you in November when you have to come to the Palace. :mad:

They maybe are . . . but I don't think they've ever beat my Falcons or if they have it was before I was born. I've never seen it. First of all, how does enrollment have anything to do with what takes place on the field? Why should we be penalized for kids wanting to go to the best high school in Va to receive the best education? My problem with the game last night was the fireworks. More and more the redneck bottle huggers are taking over this area, and now a Falcon football game?:mad: We lost because of the race parade which stopped the game at a point we were about to score. They stopped the game for fireworks and the trucks to pass by, this allowed the kitty cats to regroup and rest. I've said it more than once on here, its Abingdon vs the world! I wasn't at the game, so I can't comment (gone to a concert), but Southy told me we sit out some starters and really didn't show any high explosive plays for Va High. So for your little comment "Abingdon Sucks," we will see Lancey. BTW, does Grundy still have a town? Heard they moved it?:cool:

I just love how Marion Candy Canes ALWAYS run their trap on here. Yet we dominate them year in and year out in every sport. Granted you candies win a game here or there but you don't handle the Falcons big boy! You don't year in and year out. Last time I checked we dominated you in basketball, baseball, and tennis this year (probably track too). So shut your cake hole!:mad:

Let me start by apologizing to my boy Southy for not getting on here quicker, don't get around computers since I left highlands but thats another story. The pride of Washington County is our aprreciation for the musical arts. I think that is why we are the front runners in advanced education. Our school board has carried out new construction for new band halls for 2 schools already. Band is more than a sport, it is way of life over here. I was a band member and have discussed the rigoruous routines and tremendous amount of athleticism I had to display during marching band season. The instant pressure of staying on point with my steps while keeping rythym with the musical set was very apparent during half-time shows at Falcon Hill. Camelot would not be Camelot without the stimulation of music and I think that the Mighty Falcon Regiment is second to none! So, to say it in terms you will understand: BAND IS MORE THAN A SPORT! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU LIKE!
