Yeah other than Kelly some seasons, central should be good soon. GC is pretty new to consistently good bball teams. You all will get there..just takes time

Gate City will see how good JIB is friday night. But it will be hard to tell who is the better team because we are missing one of the Arnolds and another player that is important off of the bench, not to mention Tyler Bird for the rest of the season.

I pick UVA in OT 24-21. I think UVA wants this game more, and that will be the deciding factor. Tech is a talented team don't get me wrong, but UVA hasn't tasted victory against their inner state counterparts in a LONG time.

Exactly, BF is a good series but i enjoy(ed) call of duty way more, just because it was fast pace and chill..but whatever

not necessarily, it does it on the opponent's kill cam's in the game.

They are a pretty solid team, They start out slow in the first half and then in the 2nd half Edmunds busts wide open.

if they would have worked out with the football team, a good one. Right now not so much. They get shoved around a bunch (well besides Paul, but he graduated last year) But they are nonetheless good ball players. Just not strong.

Not at Gate City. our tallest player was like 6'2 this year.

Hell, thats how we still play in GC. haha sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, it depends on our depth and our skill level. What I have noticed in the course of just 3 count them 3 years, is that the "size" of our players have gone down. We don't have any real straight up size like we did before, and that hurts us. It's hard to see all these awesome teams just go by the wayside.

the Auburn/GC game was bs. They were spraying stuff on their shoes and hands to keep them from sliding in plain sight (ILLEGAL) and our players were slipping and falling everywhere because they hadn't properly cleaned the gym, not saying we would have won if this would have been played anywhere else but we would have stood a much greater chance at winning. I'm pretty sure they are getting reported on a national level for this because I know of a few girls that got hurt last night.

Ok well since Gate City obviously has the worst fans now, what I was saying was the COACHES could not CONTROL the PLAYERS of DAN RIVER. Not the FANS, the PLAYERS and the COACHES. Just going to point that out.

and thats exactly why i love this place and wouldn't trade any of the games i played for nothing. We shove kick cuss each other out in a game, but after the game we are shaking hands and patting each other on the back win or lose. Nothing like it.
