I saw the Sensabaugh kid from DB light up 2 different players when they played South. I didn't actually see them live, saw them on Highlights Tonight and you could hear the pop on TV. 2 of the hardest hits I have seen/heard in awhile. One kids helmet flew a few yards. Both of them prefectly legal and straight up...and by straight up I mean he hit the kids straight on...no blindside, not head to head.

Ehhh, wrong...You recall incorrectly. Caroll County was picked to lose to Abingdon. Loser did pick Abingdon to lose to Richlands...but that was a no brainer. Everybody will lose to Richlands. That is the only Abingdon game Loser has gotten correct. EVERY other game Loser has picked Abingdon to lose, they have won. It just shows that Loser is a sheep following a lost shepherd.

I promised myself I would not COMTINUE to post in this thread...but, alas, you, Mr. UVa, have gone over the top with your accusations. You obviously did not attend UVa law. Proof is required for a conviction. Please explain, or better yet, SHOW me where it is that I berated a school. If you include Phoenix online as an institution where someone attends then I am guilty. I have yet to see a Phoenix campus...maybe there is one that I am not aware of. If I recall correctly, and I do, battlefbl is the one that made degrading comments toward community college attendees. Not me. As a matter of fact, kind sir, I actually defended CC's. In addition, I also complimented Furman for their academics. Lastly, I never claimed, and never will for that matter, that UT was ever or will ever be in any sort of poll for their academics. It will never happen. Does that mean that smart, successful people don't attend UT? Of course not. One must remember that this entire sub-subject was initiated by someone else. Just because there are some high school kids from AHS on here doesn't mean that ALL falcon fans are juvenile. I find it amazing that so many people on here HATE Abingdonians. When I first joined this forum I was amazed at the number of people that would continually berate Abingdonians. Is it that they are jealous of Abingdon because we are the county seat? Is it because some people in Abingdon think so highly of themselves? Every town in SWVa has people like that...every single town in America has people like that. If someone comes on the board and berates me (which seems to happen to all people that show support for Abingdon football) then I will defend myself and my thoughts. I know there is a plethora of football knowledge on this board...just look at battlefbl's explanantion of the Tampa 2 defense...(assuming he didn't get it from Google...which I truly don't think he did).....Look, all I am saying is that I will continue to post my thoughts and defend them...which is what everyone else does on here....just don't question my football intelligence and I won't question yours. First off, let me compliment you on your beautiful avatar and sig. Secondly, were you even at the 8th grade game? You obviously were not, because had you been at the game and if you had ANY football knowledge whatsoever, you wouldn't be bragging about beating us...fo sho. Let me re-iterate my previous post....score was as follows....Refs 12 JSB 6 and AHS 12. This is no slam of the JSB team...hey, they were a good team. However, when you call players back on the field AFTER the halftime buzzer to assess a penalty that occured AFTER (read that again..AFTER) halftime had started then the refs get credit for that TD...period. If you were there you would say "ya know, you're right...that was pretty bad"....but seeing as how you WEREN'T there you are going to get on here and say things like "look at us..we're great"...which really makes you look foolish to those that were there. In addition, please answer this question...how in the world can a ref call defensive holding in the offensive backfield? When tape PLAINLY shows it was offensive holding on an end around run. I am sure there were missed calls both ways...but don't kid yourself, the two I speak of allowed JSB to score 2x. They earned 1 TD and were given 2. It's very difficult to win these games....and that difficulty raises exponentially when you have to beat both the team you are playing as well as the refs. But, uh, you go ahead and brag all you want....just keep that avatar and sig!

Really? I have to admit I have never seen this kid kick but I know that Ludwig for AHS can boom it. I would think that Ludwig was one of the better punters and KO kids around. Admittedly, I haven't seen him kick FG's of any distance but I have HEARD that he can hit some long ones. Of course, hearing and seeing are two very different things. I will say that the hate for AHS on this board is so deep that people pick against them because of emotion instead of intelligence. People actually picked Tazewell to beat us as well as JSB. What? I truly have no problem with people picking against AHS as long as it is an intelligent pick that makes sense. I also know there are some posters for AHS on here that act like the kids that they are..but when adults let the kids rattle them to the point of making emotional picks ....well, lets just say that I would LOVE to play some poker with you guys. Abingdon gets the win this week..in a close one....as long as there is no helmet tossing going on. Oh, and look for some offensive changes this week as well. AHS 28-27.
