Is it fair to say that Virginia High is a sleeping giant: that if the administration and parents didn't meddle & if they utilized the athleticism, they could be a football power

Jethro, I can't wait for the day we can consistently play with Gate City, but it ain't happening until we have a stable head coaching situation.  I mean we have talent, we have facilities, we have support.  We just need a coach to stay long enough to put it all together. 
 
I am afraid we are a baseball only school  for the foreseeable future.  Hope Crist can hang in there and make a go of it.

Bob...meh, think what you want. I love my 'Cats more than my Blues. Using your logic, I could make claims to doubt your commitment if you're pulling for Battle at any time

I say sit where you want and don't worry about NONSENSE. Keep in mind , if you sit on the VHS side you will be mighty lonely as our fans don't have the grumption to drive past exit 10 to support our team.

That would be a pretty good idea. I would pay more than 50 cents for a really good one though.

From what I am hearing from one of my good friends who has a son playing at East, they will not have a very good team this year. So I would not put too much stock in a scrimmage with them. I do believe that VHS has an opportunity to have a pretty good team this year. The biggest thing needed at VHS is some stability. They have had 4 head coaches and run 4 different systems in 6 years. They need someone who they can hang their hat on and allow him to build a program. I have heard very positive things about the new head coach, so hopefully he will be able to start building a program that has some staying power. The numbers are up, and they are going to be fielding a JV team for the first time in 3 years, so hopefully things are looking up for some long term success.

I don't know about loaded but I see getting some revenge on recent year losses, especially a couple of rivals that are really close by,
if you know what I mean.
