Boise joined the Big East in my opinion for the auto bid like everyone else said, but they didnt want to join the pac-10 or anything because the Big East was the easiest way they could possibly find into a BCS game so they chose that instead, in the end it really wont change anything, the Big East will still be laughable in football.

LSU will beat Okie State by at least 3-4 td's and will beat the hell out of them along the way, if they leave Bama out get ready to watch another SEC romp in the NC game.

Wow, I was up at 5:30 this morning and I didnt feel anything.

Man every VT fan I know personally keeps talking about how " They wish Tech would get their chance to beat the big boys" and they " could get it done" well... I say give them their chance against one of the better teams and see how they really stack up. I am aware not ALL Tech fans are delusional but as with most teams.. the crazy fans always seem to talk the loudest.

I don't even want to see this match up period, what a sham it is that anyone from the Big East is going to a BCS game, that entire conference is a joke when it comes to football, but to answer the question if VT plays anything like they did this past weekend they win by 2-3 td's easily. Another reason I hate to see VT play anyone from the big east btw is that to me it wont prove anything, you have the two weakest conferences playing against each other this year, and all that means is that for another year I will have to listen to all the delusional VT fans yack about how they could have beaten Bama and/or LSU.

If he don't leave this year it doesn't make sense, he has gotten a lot of great exposure this year and he could get injured next year and never get his shot.

I felt he was down also, all tho I haven't watched the video only in person as it happened, they didnt actually score on that play tho, they punched it right down the center of the defense to put it in the end zone.....

The word is that C'burg and B'burg both turned down playing Richlands this past offseason, I can't swear it's true, but it has seemed to be accepted as truth on here so who knows.

LSU didnt go what was it 1-5 on field goals.. that wont happen again, Im not trying to take away from LSU they are a really good team, but Bama blew many more opportunities than LSU did in that game.

I'm not sure how anyone who watched the first game and saw all the missed field goals and such that Bama had, can honestly say they are incapable of beating LSU, everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but it is my opinion that LSU was very fortunate to win that first game, and I'm not so sure they would be that fortunate two times in a row.

So tired of this schedule BS, you know what beat Richlands last night?? 300 yards and 4 or 5 touchdowns, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with who you played before Cave, you can't give that up and expect to win many games, plain and simple.

There are a lot of good people on here with positive, thoughtful things to say, then there are those that are obviously miserable over their team looking for any chance to bag on someone...

It was a tough loss for the kids Lance, and it hurt a lot when #1 went down, he is good at DE of course, and of offense he is their best leaper, after he went down Cave was more than happy to leave the WR's in single coverage and pack the line, with #1 in there that's usually a big play when he is left one on one with no help over the top, but that's the game of football,wish him a quick recovery.

I never would have believed Wright would have put up almost 300 yards tonight, but he did, and the 3 turnovers were the final nail, grats to Cave Spring, and a big thanks to all the players that have worked so hard, and all the people that also work hard behind the scenes that allow Richlands to enjoy the things we do in football.

You can say it isnt about hating on Bama all you want, but that is exactly what it appears to be. I would like a playoff system, the only thing not usual about this year is that Bama and LSU are from the same conference, in years past some of the teams that made the NC game didnt have to play a conference championship game but they didnt hold that against them, its pretty simple in the end, if that is where the bcs ranks you then that is the game you go to.

I do agree that imo Virginia is playing the best team ball, Techs offense has always been about giving one of their playmakers the ball and then standing back and seeing what he can do with it, I don't know who will win the game being a Bama fan first it seems to me that I can see both sides getting a little ahead of themselves, all the Tech fans I know wanting them to get a shot at one of the top 3 teams is a joke in my mind, but its their opinion. What I am looking forward to is hopefully the first game in a bit that is actually close and competitive and maybe a real rivalry can be seen again.

I would LOVE to see a playoff, but it isn't what we have atm,some people think that the BCS favors "traditional powers" , but to me I think if you believe your favorite team is that good you would want a playoff also,so they can show everyone. I don't really believe that on a consistent basis a playoff would change the teams you see playing for the NC all that much, sure there would be a year here and there where a surprise team may run the table, but I would be interested in seeing over like a 10 year period how many of the winners in a playoff system would still be a traditional power. Those are only my opinion tho and hopefully one day we can be discussing on this board how the first 10 years of the playoffs have affected college football.
