Rick Noel was a good one. Man we had a huge team back in those days with Noel, the Billips boys and others.

For Tazewell, I would go with Quentin Reed on offense and the one and only Steve Mitchem on D. Steve was a beast that also went to Va Tech but got injured.

I was really surprised about Grundy. Thought they could have played alot better.

I just don't see Grundy losing to Lebanon.

Tate resigned yesterday.

He wasn't "gassed" he injured his neck. Being he is the backup on varsity, no need risking further injury.

Spent some time yesterday wiring it up. Shaq wont be running the ball any. He's playing OT/DT.

I honestly think Tazewell could have gotten some more yards if the scrimmage hadn't been called due to lightning. I will say, Elizabethon looked darn good but they had scrimmaged multiple times. Plus, we had a number of starters that didn't play.

We should have had more yardage. 6 dropped passes didn't help at all. It was the first scrimmage for us and the 3rd or 4th for them. We should get a better feel this Friday against Chilhowie.
