I think Hurley will be just fine,they are not worried about Twin Valleys rough play.That is why Twin Valley has had such a bad season,instead of playing Basketball they try to show everyone how tough they are. NEWS FLASH,nobody cares.

Don't forget Dye from Honaker,Thomas Allen from Hurley who is probably the best denfensive player in the region and Tilton from Haysi is a good player,not sure he is a Sr.

If you played at Hurley in the 80's you played on the team that Hurley beat,don't be a sore loser.You can't blame Hurley or even Grundy when someone from W VA. comes over and steals a bunch of tailgates.

I don't know where you got your information from,but it has never been like you are describing.You or anyone else that comes to Hurley or any school and shows their ass,someone will probably kick it for you.Just because someone wants to get on here and brag about their team a little too much is no reason to bash the whole community.

I really don't know how all this got started,but Hurley fans support their team just like other teams fans support them.As far as Hurley fans trying to scare or intimidate other fans I haven't seen it. We try to be nice to other fans.Just like Lance said about Clintwood crying about having to come to Grundy,they all cry when they have to come to Buchanan County.Be proud of your team,but please try to get along with each other.

By any chance have you seen that Lee High General,he disappeared after Gate City clobbered Lee High.Hope he didn't do anything drastic like maybe jump off of a bridge.

I think it will give everyone an idea about howgood a team Galax has,Tazewell played that game without their best player also I heard.

Had to miss game because of sickness,listened to radio,sounded like they played pretty good.

I thought Hurley played their worst game of the year and still won by 31.River View is not all that bad,but they sure could use a Coach.

I think you will see Gate City or VA High,maybe even both.Could see Lebanon sneaking in there,they seem to be playing very well now. I think Hurley is 20 points better than any other D1 team in Region D Twin Springs second,J.I. Burton third and Castlewood fourth.Region tournament at Castlewood so you could see an upset or two.

Mark is doing a great job this year,his bench players are getting a lot of playing time and it shows.Gibson,Bergalowe,Stacy,and Hensley will be needed down the road.Nathan Ramey has shown a lot of improvement lately,can really shoot well.The whole team is looking good from one end of the bench to the other.

Hurley played Logan pretty good for about 3 quarters,Logan was just too deep and were better than Hurley.Logan has 2 loses,one to VA.AAA Jackson High who the last time I checked was 13-3,the other loss was to Northland out of Columbus Ohio who were ranked 33 in the nation at that time.Hurley and Radford both are lower in the polls because of their tough schedules.I look for both in the finals in their divisions.

As hard as it is to get scores,it is even harder to get individual scoring.The ones I have seen of VA.High,i haven't seen where Couch,who is their best player,has been scoring much.I was wondering if he is hurt or something.One of the best players I have seen this year.
