tonight dean for GC became the third 2000 point scorer for GC i think that GC is the only high school team in Va that has had 3 2000 point scorers, what is impressive is that all three played together back in the 90's Council had 4 1000 pt scores in the same graduating class
Can't remember for sure, but I think during 68-69 season Cleveland had 3 1000 point scorers and Jeff Owens with over 2000 points.
John, I've put up with enough of that guys BS. He has gotten the boot for other things and continues to create new names...this was his 8th for everyone at home keeping score. I'll continue to pull the plug on that joker as long as I continue to pay the bills around here. If you have a problem with that, then I suggest you show yourself the door.
If SWVA can only produce teams as good Chilwars in 1A , they will continue to get spanked in the finals ! You would think after getting blown out in 17 , and coming back loaded in 18 the coaches would have had them ready ? They came back after sweeping a bunch of nobodies , and get blistered again ! It looked to me like they averaged about 20 lbs. heavier and just as slow as before . 20 lbs of flab . I think they must have a diet of mashed potatoes and gravy !

Riverheads is not the only 2A school dropping down and beating up on the JV's, some do it for Football, some for wrestling, some for Ice Skating. Whatever the reason, it is just not fair to the small school's.
