Thanks to some "sources" I've been told that Derrick Davis of Wytheville has transfered to Bluefield. Davis made first team all-state in Group A of Virginia last year as a kick returner for George Wythe.

Yea your correct. That statment would be very off

Some are from brushfork. such as Tracy Coppoloa, Kelly Marotti, and some others..

some are from bluewell. Some are from princeton because there parents work in bluefield. Some are from Bluefield Va. for the same reason. and some just dont like there school there at so they come to bluefield. Yea it may be for sports. But they do get education at bluefield also. Because sports may only last 4 years. an education last a lifetime

I wouldn't start any crap with Weir football, Rocks. After all, the first string for Weir's football team will all be first round draft picks next year. They won't be ranked in the top 25 in the country but they should be. If you don't believe me just ask him.

Actually the kid is going play QB and from my understanding is extremely impressive. Someone told me "he's a highlight film waiting to happen." Folks, I'm stoked about this upcoming season and those writing Bluefield off are DEAD wrong. Class AA runs through Bluefield until someone proves otherwise. Let's kick off the season next Friday night! And the kid grew up in Bluefield when he was younger, so this is kind of a natural fit for him.

Powell and McClanahan are both proven backup QBs if something was to happen. Powell will be better served in the backfield as a RB and playing some receiver. If this kid is as good as is being talked about the Beaver offense is going to unreal this fall.
