Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Thanks to some "sources" I've been told that Derrick Davis of Wytheville has transfered to Bluefield. bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Looks like we got a returner, WR or maybe even a RB He's pretty tall at 6'1. I think he'll be our #1 reciever I think we got ourselves another Basketball Player also... anybody have any background on this kid?
WeirFootball 10 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 What a shock! Bluefield gets yet another transfer.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Its not like were recruiting anybody. They wanna come to bluefield because they want to win.
WeirFootball 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Okay, it's not like it will make a difference anyways!

WeirFootball 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I just go by people that I know from down there that say the Beaver players are from Bluefield. I'm just pointing out where that statement is a little off.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Yea your correct. That statment would be very off Some are from brushfork. such as Tracy Coppoloa, Kelly Marotti, and some others.. some are from bluewell. Some are from princeton because there parents work in bluefield. Some are from Bluefield Va. for the same reason. and some just dont like there school there at so they come to bluefield. Yea it may be for sports. But they do get education at bluefield also. Because sports may only last 4 years. an education last a lifetime
beaverball 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I wouldn't start any crap with Weir football, Rocks. After all, the first string for Weir's football team will all be first round draft picks next year. They won't be ranked in the top 25 in the country but they should be. If you don't believe me just ask him.
WeirFootball 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Once again, I'm not getting into another arguement over Bluefield/Weir. I just pointed out that someone told me that all their players were from Bluefield.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Actually the kid is going play QB and from my understanding is extremely impressive. Someone told me "he's a highlight film waiting to happen." Folks, I'm stoked about this upcoming season and those writing Bluefield off are DEAD wrong. Class AA runs through Bluefield until someone proves otherwise. Let's kick off the season next Friday night! And the kid grew up in Bluefield when he was younger, so this is kind of a natural fit for him.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 I cant wait to see him play! QB Probply?
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Not probably Rocks, he will be the starting QB. Ask your boy "Beavers" about him a in PM and he'll give you the entire scoop.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 he's done given me some info on him. But i'll ask for more...lol appriciate it rules!
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 So this whole argument about McClanahan and Powell was pointless?...lmao Thats hillarious. Lets just hope this kid dont get hurt. Knock on wood!
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Powell and McClanahan are both proven backup QBs if something was to happen. Powell will be better served in the backfield as a RB and playing some receiver. If this kid is as good as is being talked about the Beaver offense is going to unreal this fall. bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 [ QUOTE ] If this kid is as good as is being talked about the Beaver offense is going to unreal this fall. [/ QUOTE ] Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships. Thats what im worried about rules
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Hey, a lack of defense didn't stop Gretna from winning the Virginia state title last year. We'll be fine on defense, we have a ton of speed and kids that know about to unload...
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 They had a player named "Vic Hall"...haha I mean i think we'll do allright. But i deffinetly think beaver-graham is ours now. But i probply just jinxed em' Allen Carter is probply the biggest hitter on the team this year...WOW!
Sources 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 From what I was told by someone who has very reliable sources within the team, he will be playing QB.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 yea. I asked "beavers". He's about as close to the Offense as you can get..
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 And as i said to somebody earlier. If this kid plays some basketball. Then all i can say is UH-OH for every other team! I mean 6'1. He has to have some game!
RenegadeFan 10 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Bluefield is starting to shape up and look dangerous for not only football, but basketball as well even with out this new kid, i still think Bluefield will be a threat when going against anybody
