[ QUOTE ]

what is battles history, could they win or is the district to tough?

[/ QUOTE ]

Perpetual whipping boys of SWVA...and no, they couldn't win unless they played Twin Valley, Hurley, Twin Springs, Ervinton, and Pound twice every year.

They won't win a district game as long as they play in the Clinch Mountain District.

I remember Sam Blevins was head coach, he just quit as boys basketball coach at Abingdon. Then Jimmy King the baseball coach that won the 2 state championships was the head coach for two years he went 5-5 and his second year went 9-3 and lost to Giles for the Region. After him they had something like 3 coaches in 6 years and then this guy came. They guy that was there before this guy is the head basketball coach there now. They've had pretty much a revolving door from what I can recall.

Isn't that the same Jimmy King who was the quarterback at Tazewell the same four years that Eddie Neel started at Graham? If so he was a good one. Too bad he never stayed as football coach.
