Guest BEAVERTAIL Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 [ QUOTE ] They also lost their best hustler in Casey Lineberry. Lineberry didn't have the basketball talent that some have, but he played hard and his hustle was huge for them. [/ QUOTE ] Very True. Lineberry was the glue that held the princeton team together last year, and he held down the paint quite often. He played hard for every second he was on the floor and collected a whole lot of rebounds. He was a great competitor.
GetMoney55 11 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 they do lose a lot with Carpenter and Lineberry leaving. I believe this year they have some great talent all around, but the leadership that those two brought to the court will not be matched. 4craziesfootball 10 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 That's interesting...you don't play AAA teams other than princeton for the most part. Princeton does not define season by bluefield maybe when you were AAA but now Beckley and charleston area teams are a better gauge sorry to burst your bubble. Try to get you attendance up and join the AAA ranks again and then princeton may use bluefield as a win/loss gauge.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 Beckley and Chareleston teams are better. But you cannot even beat a AA Bluefield school so why in the name of Barry Manilow would you think you can beat Woodrow and others?

A school that is AAA should be competitive to a AA team, and not lose almost every time. Bluefield can beat a lot of AAA teams in the state in most every sport. If Bluefield ever goes to AAA again then it might look half way respectable when they continue to beat Princeton every year. I know that in the past 4 years Bluefield and Princeton have played 12 times and Princeton has won a whopping 2 games. Bluefield has won 10 out of the last 12 games, and that pretty much tells the stories of the series history too. Bluefield dominated. Also, you have to live with that fact that Bluefield scored the first 3 touchdowns on your brand new field before you even got to sniff the end zone. This is not even worth arguing because I could go on all day long. Enjoy your MSAC conference and don't hurt yourself while you try crawling out of it like babies. Bluefield could compete with any team in AAA in football and basketball. just realize it. Too many people from Princeton are quick to take away any credit given to Bluefield just because they are AA. Well once you all start winning games, then I think you can start talking, but until then shut your mouths and worry about you own strive for success.
