I believe USA today had Ohio #1. but who cares..WVU can have their #2 party ranking and bask in that. They still have one of the lowest graduation rates in the country. Id feel proud to go there.

I'm very proud to be a WVU alum.

And if everything goes to plan, in 3 1/2 years. I'll be prouder than anybody about being a WVU alum

with every post in this thread you look more and more ignorant getmoney...im guessing some "WVU drunk" got you pissed off and now you are out for their heads and you just automatically throw everything at them...

i was posting all of the "drunk student" allegations just to get someone mad about me doing it and calling it "idiotic" rocks was that person and since then ive stated on how it is just as stupid to suspect a well respected coach of doing it.

because in cleaning out his office they could have been misplaced. im also sure that many wvu officials have access to his office (a.d, school president, etc.) the a.d. was just fine with not providing for funds needed to the football program, so maybe it could have been him to dispose of the files.

the thing is the fact that no one is giving it any other look. its strictly point the finger at richrod because he left us for something better.

explain how Rich's nephew I believe has to be escorted by two police officers everywhere he goes. Clearly there has to have been something going on for that to happen.

heres on of my own experiences. My friend had come home from being featured on a game on ESPN when he was 12 years. He was getting a lot of female attention, teacher attention, media attention, etc. Some people decided to be pricks and threaten his life, the life of his family and such. The police werent going to do anything about it until they had gotten physical proof that something was happening. Some older kids from his school rounded him up at his locker one morning and about jumped him and he finally showed some written threats from people. From then on, he was followed closely and surrounded by police at all times.

Police arent gonna do anything unless there is something to go on. They arent gonna escort Rod's nephew everywhere just because they feel sorry for him. Something happened threatening he and his family's life and they are taking action. I believe that is report enough.

I never seen the report please provide link or newspaper article specifically stateing that he had to have armed guards or police protection around the clock? And the comment that you made about the police would not do anything until they have something to go on or have physical proof.1)Phone records are a form of physical proof, yet still there are still no police reports to be found in regards to RR family and 2)If the police do not "have anything to go on" then it must not have happened, and 3)And with everything that has happened this past month and the high profile in the news that the police would just wait for "anything to go on"?

maybe the A.D could have stepped in there after richrod left and disposed of the files? who knows. thats the thing. everyone is OH SO QUICK to place blame on rodriguez.

now i know it was his office and that he did have access to it, but so do other people. people that are strong WVU fans are still pissed about rich leaving and just want to pour on the load to hate him further.

Who else would want to destroy all of the players strength and conditioning records? Who does it benefit the most,RR that's who.By destroying all of the records it puts WVU at a big disadvantage because it put WVU behind as far as recruiting and who ever is the new S&C coach will have to start from scratch to evaluate the players which will take time to redo instead of jumping in where the players left off. I guess RR mother needs to call ESPN and and tell them that someone broke into her sons office instead of calling the police.

Exactly, WVU had more to lose from destroying the files while Rich Rod had more to gain.

But why would rich rod completely sabotage the program that he served for so long? I have a hard time believing that he would do something like this.

He could be an ego maniac? I dont know though. He may also see WVU as a threat. The one thing I do know is that he cant seem to be trusted, so thats why I'm not doubting that he would do something like this.

I have a hard time believing he didnt do it to be honest. I'll act like i'm not a WVU fan right now and talk as if i'm an outsider looking in.

RR was pissed at EP and such about not meeting out all his requests so he decided to take the Michigan job. Before he left he decided to destroy everything he had done to help WVU because he felt betrayed. And destroy the workouts of players and info on them

Thats the way I look at it

Look at his track record during this whole fiasco, leaving over the most minute issues, calling recruits and trying to steal them to Michigan before he told the WVU players he was leaving. This is just his way of sticking it to WVU, that is what sociopaths do.

he left because it is Michigan. all the other stuff (a.d. not owning up, other issues) were just fuel for the fire. but that is a different issue.

the way i see it, most WVU fans are gonna be trying to find anything wrong with Richrod so that they can hate him even more. right now its to the point that if Richrod gets a size 12 shoe at michigan but wore a 10 at WVU, fans will hate him even more. something along the lines of "i cant believe he would wear a size 12 there. what a traitor"

How quickly things change? yeah, especially after he told recruits he was leaving for Michigan before he even told his own players ala (Terelle Pryor).

"He who must not be named" was an excellent coach and I thank for him what he has done for the program. But when you become a sneaky little [censored] like he has. I have no pitty for him

i agree that telling Pryor before his own players was a little lame. HOWEVER, coaches talking to players is allowed. Trying to get players to go with you whereever you go is allowed. If what the player likes most about a program is its coach, then what the coach does will most influence the player.

the only think i found somewhat wrong in him contacted Pryor was that it was before he told his own players.

Its funny how others ignore what Rod has done such as calling recruits before he told the players and during the dead period, and all they want to do is make WVU fans look like bad guys.

The NCAA has a dead and quiet period as to when a coach can talk to a recruit. Apparently he talked to Josh Jenkins and Pryor during these times. If he did then it would be an NCAA violation. WVU has already self-reported it to the NCAA to cover their butts.
