Barack Obama... Socialist.

Barack Obama is a Socialist. How? well let me begin...

How about we start with Healthcare. According to Obama, everyone should have it, but who is gonna pay for it? The people making money and paying taxes. Everyone should have fair means of getting healthcare, aka equal oppurtunity. That is socialist thinking.

Obama wants to tax the high tax bracket, such as my good friends Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, to give up 50% of their earnings to taxes, which in turn gives everyone a equal chance. Socialist. (note: Barack Obama has voted to increase, or not to decrease middle class taxes twice)

Obama wants to give jobs to everyone through the goverment and OUR taxes. Socialist.

In a world where most people are moderates leaning right and capitalists, it makes you wonder if Obamas recent move to the middle of the political spectrum means anything from being considered the farthest left presidential candidate to date.

It does.

It shows that Barack Obama is not the "audacity of hope" but he is just a politician who tells people what they want to hear and is trying to win an election. And this summer, Obama sure is wearing his flip-flops.

I dunno who is going to pay for it...but for what we have spent in Iraq I'm sure we could have spent it better here at home...we found money for that project I'm sure we can find some more.

yay...4 more years of the same crap...thank you sir, may I have another.

I think I'm going to write in Huckabee.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure you can think he is the same man, but he is more moderate than George ever would dream of being.

Secondly i will not argue that this year has been bad for the economy, but the past 7 have not been the same. You may argue that they may have been lesser than the Clinton years but we are in a war and every economy have peaks and valleys. Its not like the economy has been struggling for all 8 years.

And honestly, you want to blame someone for your problems, your blaming the wrong people. The President has very little to do with the economy he can only suggest things to do, which he has been doing a lot lately. However because it is an election year no liberal congressperson would ever do anything the President wants, such as drilling in ANWR and off our coasts. If you want to blame anyone, blame congress. They have more power than the president when it comes to that, and i will remind you it is democratic, Obama serves in it, and it has a 16% approval rating. That makes George Bush look like a superstar.

I think they all suck..90% of them from top to bottom...I'd love to see sweeping changes in all levels of Gov.

I also think if you put your name in the hat and you are elected to a high office...you should get up excited every morning and go in to work and say to yourself "What can I do for the American people today?"...and if you don't...and you just want to sit there and play politics and do the same crap that got this country bent over an oil barrel...then you need to get out.

It's time each and every one of these clowns got sent home and get some new people in there that can actually get something done...if it were up to me the Democrats and Republicans would both be banished from all forms of Gov and everyone would run as an independent...it's time for legit change...and time to get some new people in those old seats.

John McCain = George Bush....

[/ QUOTE ]

Barack Obama = Jimmy Carter.

We all know how that one turned out.

They are exactly the same, before the election no one knew who they were. They started off winning the first primary and were totally supported by the media.

Both have lack of experience (3 years in the senate),

Both have lack of specificoty about topics (note my elitist article, obama rufuses to talk about numerous things, and most commonly his inability to decide if the ruling congress gave out about keeping our guns was unconstutional),

Both have lack of accomplishments (any obama supporter want to tell me what he has done?).

Jimmy Carter had a one word slogan, Trust.

Barack Obama, Hope.

Jimmy Carter claimed to have great foreign policies, same as Obama, but failed miserably. Neither had any experience in the field. Eventually it led him to his demise, and Ronald reagan took 91%, thats right 91% of the electoral votes in 1980.

Carter is also a supporter of socialism, same as Mr. Obama, (see above first post).

Carter also believed in talking to everyone, same as Obama, carter even talked to Fidel Castro .

Both Carter and Obama created an uproar in areas that were not usually political, such as young voters, leading many to believe that they won the presidency, or in obama's case, won the primary based on uninformed voters.

Carter was left, WAY left. But Obama is even further. Both Candidates came towards the middle at the end of the campaign.

Both Candidates are first, Obama's is obvious, but Carter was the First candidate from the deep south and the first religous nominee.

Both Obama and Carter never talk about their own policies, just of the glory the will bring.

So what did Carter do wrong?

Well you can thank primarily Jimmy Carter for the threat from Iran. He ousted an allie of ours in Iran to make way for the goverment that is in there now, based purely on islamic theocracy. It didnt take long for Carter to realize this, as Iran captured 52 of our embassy staff, and then Carter made it worse by humiliating America when negotiating to get them back.

Obama will fail as well in foriegn policy.

Carter also ruined the economy. He raised the debt by 42%. WITHOUT A WAR. (Highest ever BTW)

Had he gotten national healthcare, like Obama wants too, the debt would have soared.

Unemployment was double what it is right now, and the Interest tax was close to 20%. Inflation was 13.5%.

Not to mention all the post term screw ups he has had.

So if you want to elect Obama, just like Jimmy Carter, the black Jimmy Carter go ahead. I think ive shown you what is going to happen if he gets elected, but if you want to hear what Obama and Carter might say about what may happen if you elect them it may sound like this... The Earth will abound with happiness. The sun will shine brighter than ever before upon the earth, upon this great nation, and we will have hope. The clouds will break and a shining light will come through signaling a beginning of a new era. we will all gather together and hold hands with our brothers, sing kumbaya, and live together with peace, love, and in the end change."

Obama and Carter 2008.

I agree completely. Politicians are too worried about what is their electability if they choose one side over another to do any good at all. No longer are they doing any good for America, but for themselves. Nancy Pelosi, John Rockafeller, and Robert Byrd are the worst. They all need to get out now. Congress is doing nothing at this time, and its not only driving me up a wall, but it is killing this nation.

In my opinion, I think the whole Republican/Democrat parties should disappear....We should be trying to find ways to bring us closer...insted of tearing americans farther apart.

I agree 100%. It's time for change alright, and these two are not the change I'm looking for. But IMO the lesser of the two evils is McCain.

Congress has a lower approval rating than the president! Congress is controlled by the DEMS, who have done ABSOLUTELYL NOTHING since gaining control of office nearly 2 years ago!

Both parties are led by GLOBALIST and both parties have a global agenda. Until a true INDEPENDENT small government party comes on the scene and is treated as a legitimate player, this country will NOT CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

By the way you can blame this whole economic recession on Bush if you want to, but someone said it correct before, the President doesn't have as much control over the economy as some think, that is unless THEY SIGN SOME SORT OF free trade agreement. Then the president can have an adverse effect on the economy. Can anyone say NAFTA?

Big ears himself, Ross Perot, told both parties that it wouldn't work, NAFTA THAT IS, and good ol' Bill and the rest of the sheeple in Washington stood by as he signed it into play. The REPUBS opposed it and acted like they were gonna do something about it, the along came GEORGE, who ignored our border problem and continues to do so. Why? Because both are in favor of globalization!

They may disagree on social and some fiscal policies, but in the end we are force fed a LEFT/RIGHT PARADIGM that keeps the people divided. Presently, we have no choice as far as globalization and the continued sell out of America goes.

Obama- take a look at his campaign posters, EXACT CARBON COPY DUPLICATES OF MARXIST PROPAGANDA posters used in the Soviet Union during the Bolshevik Revolution and thereafter. This is not a coincidence!

McCain is much more moderate than Bush which means that he will be SOCIALIST LITE. With a little bit of military fascism mixed in for good measure.

If there is one man alive right now, with the influence to set a precedent and change the direction of the independent movement in AMERICA it is RON PAUL.

He is not the answer but his thinking, ideas and agenda is a move in the right direction. We need change, just not the kind that Obama and McCain are promising.

By the way I have been a die hard, dyed in the wool hard core conservative Republican for a loooooooong time and I have officially denounced my allegiance and am pursuing a legitimate independent candidate and party to contest these wholesalers of America, the Dems and Repubs.

Huckabee was at a large local church for a pre July 4 patriotism service honoring the different military branches. Very touching when the ones that served/serving stood to be honored.

Huckabee was the featured guest speaker and I'm sitting there thinking .....America doesn't know what they're missing in the upcoming election.

As he said, not being under the constraints as a presidential candidate, he was free to "opine"....(not his word...mine and Mr. O'Reilly's). He was just "right on" with his assessment of America and the world.

Oh, what could have been......

yeah the media tries to make it out like he is some religious wack-o...and he's really not...if you actually listen to what the man says and wants to do, it was miles ahead of McCain or Obama.

I just don't get McCain...I've tried to like the guy...tried to talk myself in to voting for him...but I just can't do it...I really don't know what I will do in Nov. when it comes time to vote...I guess it will depend now on who they pick as vice prez...but...either way...you are correct...we missed out on Huckabee...i think he was the best option.
