Marion has a chance at the playoffs that will be the difference Marion will come out and want this game more. 84Cavalier 10 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 well, last year wasn't for pride only, cause Marion DID go to the playoffs, if I remember correctly but Abingdon had the better record, overall. I look for just the opposite this year (although Abingdon won't go to the playoffs even with a win). Folks that haven't watched Abingdon week in week out underestimate how good J. Hess is - his throws are all there, its just that the receivers don't give him a lot of help most of the time. I look for it to change this week - AHS 35, MSHS 21, and repay last year. Hannah is quite truly one of the best backs I've seen this year...and they have made some strides on defense as the year has progressed. Last time I checked its Soutwest Virginia Mountains just like Marion. The two townsar only 30 minutes apart yet Abingdon get a rep for being rich and soft. We are country boys as well.
