hokie07 11 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 Firefox is above and beyond the safest browser out there right now. I have used it for years too. Internet Explorer is crap, for a lack of better words. Google Chrome is a decent browser also, but since it is relatively new it doesn't run as smooth as the others, nor does it have the candy that Firefox does. I reinstalled my Firefox recently and only have the Snapshot add-on right now. It lets you take and save screen shots and is very useful for reports and other things of that nature. Â And funny this thread should start because I stumbled across a few extra things you can change in your settings to double the browsing speed on your Firefox. I did it yesterday and it's just as fast, if not faster, than Google Chrome. Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 I do, and am using it as my browser now. It doesn't crash with nearly the frequency that Vista makes IE crash.
