wvuraiders 10 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 It is early in wv game and wv getting pounded.....I have seen all big east teams play and bar far louisville is best team in big east as of moment...unreal talent and defense...wv has forced 10 turnovers and still down 12 early in first half....If i was a betting man I would plan on seeing the u of l in the final four. fieldgeneral 10 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 Louisville has by far the best all round team but lack the "big Man." Pitt is good when they are on, but lost to the Lou. The Big East is heating up and I'm giving WVU props for making a valiant effort in the second half. They had just dug their hole too deep. They have to make an upset win or two to get in. swvasport_7 10 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Well were going to see a intersting matchup next week (its either monday or tuesday) in the bigeast with the Cards and Uccon...i think Uccon is just a nasty team, there point guard has tradmandous speed and can slice threw defense and there shooting guard is a pretty good 3pt shooter but Thabet makes that team, I think he going to be one of the top big men when he gets to the nba...he had a triple double today, 15 pts, 11 rebs, 10 blocks...but im pretty sure uccon will move up to number 1 when the polls come out and we have seen how well that has been going teams my favorite team is in the big east but there usually never that good..cincinnati bearcats Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Both teams are great, I still give UConn the nod though. I gree that Pryce and Adrian are beasts. I just haven't drank the Thabeet kool-aid. He isn't as physical as needed by that big man. Last night he had a triple double, but watching WVU's lack of a big man keep him at bay just makes me think that he has a lot of work to do to become a force to deal with. The intensity and defense of Louisville makes me give them the nod. We will see Monday night. I just feel that UCONN doesn't play to their potential although they looked very good Saturday. They got on a lot lately because of big conference games and both being ranked. I think they played their way out. HUGE game tonight....and not Notre Lame!
